"You know so many spells! Why didn't you use them sooner?"
Velint looked at Fran with shock, and in front of them Tors, covered in wounds, blood slowly flowing out, lying on the ground, his life hanging in the balance.
"I didn't expect this spell to work for a moment."
Fran explained that she had indeed forgotten about the spell and hadn't expected it to be so effective.
After Fran's Brittle Armor Spell lowered their armor, their attacks no longer hit hard rocks, but rather slightly brittle ones.
This allowed them to quickly end the battle.
Velint looked at Fran with some surprise. She hadn't seen Fran's battle before and only knew that Fran's strength was above hers, but she didn't know exactly how much.
During their recent joint attack on Tors, she astutely discovered that Fran was not only far stronger in close combat than when they first met, but also far exceeded her expectations in terms of the number of spells she could cast.
"You're really lucky to have found so many spells... and they're all useful," Velint said with a hint of envy.
Normal Spirit Realm Traveler can only acquire four or five Arts during their apprenticeship, and even those may not be suitable for them.
Because the Spirit Realm has a mechanism that sets an upper limit, once you obtain enough spells or Combat Technique, the probability of you obtaining spells/ Combat Technique next time will decrease.
Like Velint herself, she received two spells, which should be great, right? But her other spell required a three-second incantation to cast.
Without a complete set of equipment to enhance the spell, even with a three-second casting time, the damage dealt wouldn't be much higher than Lightning Impact, so after using it a few times, she simply put the spell away.
As for Fran, according to her observation, Fran also demonstrated a spell that covered her body with defense during the battle. There were a total of four spells, and all of them worked.
Furthermore, she could tell that Fran also possessed several Combat Technique; otherwise, it would be impossible to explain how Fran's physical abilities were so high.
This setup was exactly the best configuration she had ever wanted when she first entered the Spirit Realm, which made her incredibly envious.
"Let's quickly search this area, someone might be coming soon."
Fran raised an eyebrow and reminded her.
Perhaps it was because she suspected that the guards on the other side were all patrolling outside, that they entered without being stopped by any guards.
Although some of the servants had also taken the Dragon-Transformation Potion, they didn't even know how to use weapons; they were only slightly better physically and were easily defeated by the two women.
The only obstacle is the priest standing before them.
"That's right, then I'll search this side, and you go over there."
Knowing that time was of the essence, Velint didn't waste any time and immediately began to act.
After a quick search, the two arrived at a gate.
Velint pushed the door with her hand, but it didn't budge, as if something was blocking it from behind.
"It seems like this is the only place left."
The two of them searched most of the area, but found only places for rest or worship, and there was absolutely no way they could find the medicinal materials they needed.
There was a locked door in front of them, and they couldn't find the key anywhere.
"Then let's take the door down," Fran suggested.
Velint, considering they had already been there for a long time, agreed.
Fran cast the Brittle Armor Spell and used the Transmutation School's expertise to amplify its effect, hitting a section of the gate directly.
Velint didn't care about anything else and swung her greatsword, smashing it fiercely towards that area.
A loud 'bang!' caused the entire building to shake, and some of the less stable parts made a 'crackling' sound.
The area hit by the impact kicked up a cloud of dust, which, once cleared, revealed the thick stonework inside the gate.
The two didn't intend to solve the problem of the gate all at once, so they repeated the above process, and finally, on the third attempt, they dug a large enough hole for a person to crawl through.
The two hurriedly crawled inside and saw the scene there.
Inside the room, thick stone walls encased the entire space, and there appeared to be no passageway leading out, except for the main door behind them.
In the middle of the room, there was a field filled with a certain plant, and next to it was a large lid, which seemed to cover something.
"These are the ingredients for the Dragon-Transformation Potion?" Velint asked, lacking knowledge of potions.
Fran stepped forward to examine the plant; its rhizome was covered with many small thorns, and at the tip was a small ball, which looked like an undeveloped flower.
But Fran knew that the plant had matured, and the unique scent of ripeness it emitted gave Fran absolute certainty.
"It should only be one of the materials; there are other materials as well."
Fran turned to look at the large lid beside her; she sensed that another material was inside.
There was something emitting light on the ceiling of the room, seemingly to help the plant grow. With the help of this light, Fran could see what was under the cover.
One or two meters above the ground, there was a pool of red liquid that appeared to be boiling, with ripples spreading across its surface.
Fran frowned. She was quite certain that these were the materials for making the Dragon-Transformation Potion. In fact, with her extraordinary level of Pharmacy, she could vaguely sense that these two materials could be used to make a very powerful potion.
However, the problem lies with the liquids below. She can sense that these liquids are of a very high grade, far exceeding the First Order.
She wondered if these liquids were related to the destruction of Monsa City seven days later.
What shocked her most was the sheer quantity of the liquid.
The area below is at least twelve square meters, and judging from the marks on the adjacent wall, the liquid was originally within easy reach of the ground.
"Hey, are you done yet? Time is running out," Velint urged from the side.
Seeing Fran staring blankly down below, she became somewhat anxious as she was uprooting the plants.
"Immediately."
Fran knew that there was no time to waste now, so she used her Water Control Spell to draw up the liquid below and put it into a bucket next to her, to Velint's astonishment.
When Luka heard the guards report that there was a bloody smell coming from the Divine Revelation Hall, he hurriedly led his men inside and hastily rescued the dying Tors.
Then he and the guards looked at the huge hole in the door and felt like the sky was about to fall.
