Tragic

Fran's earlier Earth Uplift hadn't caused much damage to the knights; she had deliberately avoided using the spell for its destructive potential.

Admittedly, if she had used this directly on the knights, she might have seriously injured several of them.

But she deliberately didn't do that, so that the knights only felt the ground shake a few times, and a few of them lost their balance and fell down.

Fran's previous use of Earth Uplift had significantly increased the level of Earth Element activation in this area, and now that she is using Earth Uplift again, it will have an even more powerful effect than the two separate uses.

She aimed at the spot where the three knights were standing, directing the Earth Element directly upwards towards them.

A huge spike protruded from between the three knights, heading diagonally towards Fran, its tip landing precisely at Fran's feet.

Using the spike, Fran leaped into the air again, positioning herself in an area where Connor could not reach her.

Immediately afterwards, she manipulated her magic, and a whistling stream of air rushed towards the two knights on the other side.

The powerful airflow stripped their armor away layer by layer, leaving only pieces of metal lying on the ground.

At the same time, the strong winds also gave their skin, which was originally protected by armor, a layered texture, with deep scratches appearing on their skin.

Even so, the two knights could only be considered severely wounded, not killed by Fran, but that was enough, because the two knights could only lie on the ground, unable to pick up their weapons.

Meanwhile, at the spot where the spikes had protruded, the three knights, before they could react, felt themselves losing weight.

They looked down and saw that the ground beneath their feet had cracked open, and their bodies were falling rapidly due to gravity. However, the surrounding land suddenly stopped cracking after they landed.

Fran in the sky clenched her left hand tightly, and the spell in her hand connected with the Earth Element on the ground.

A loud "bang" was heard, not from an explosion, but from the earth shaking.

Even Connor's hands, gripping the longsword, trembled slightly due to the spell's effect.

Connor quickly followed the commotion and looked towards where the three knights had been. The sight reignited his anger on his already gloomy face.

Where the spikes used to stand, now there is a large bulge at the bottom of the spikes.

Judging from the appearance of the bulge, it is dense soil, and just by looking at it, you can feel the enormous pressure emanating from it.

The three knights inside this soil were naturally crushed by the earth and became nourishment for nature.

"Huh?" Fran suddenly sensed something, looked down, and saw Connor recklessly leap into the air and slash at her with his knife.

However, Connor himself lacked aerial combat skills, resulting in his first slash failing to even glancing at Fran's edge.

Fran, meanwhile, bent slightly and descended from Connor's side, delivering a kick to Connor's waist as she approached.

Fran used the air to gain more height, and when she looked at the remaining two knights, she discovered that they were actually running away.

Indeed, after witnessing the tragic state of their companion, the two knights knew perfectly well that they were simply not up to the task of participating in such a battle.

If I had prepared in advance to assist Commander Connor, there might still be a chance to fight, but now it's clear that there's no chance.

Faced with Fran's precise kill, they felt a long-lost fear, which caused them to immediately drop their weapons and run out of the canyon.

Fran had no intention of letting them go. She looked at the back of one of the knights and threw the Purple Shortsword at his waist toward his back.

A purple afterimage appeared in the air and crashed directly into the back of a knight.

Fortunately, the knight's armor was thick enough to withstand the impact of the Short Sword, allowing only the Short Sword to pierce the ground without harming him.

Before he could even feel relieved, a bone-chilling cold burst forth from his back.

If he were still the knight in the Blood Wolf Knights could calmly analyze the situation, he would probably know to remove the Purple Shortsword stuck in his back immediately.

However, he was already terrified by Fran's terrifying targeted killing methods. Before Connor could even come to his rescue, he was encased in ice and turned into an ice sculpture.

Connor did not continue to pursue Fran. Instead, he turned around and called to the fleeing knight, shielding him behind him to prevent Fran from killing him further.

Connor stared at Fran with hatred in his eyes; the methods Fran had displayed far exceeded his expectations.

Even he, when facing a second-tier guardian knight order, could not kill every First Order knight as quickly as Fran.

While magic certainly has its advantages, Fran's unique position as a mage is far more significant.

He had never seen anyone who could learn so many schools of School. How did those School allow someone like Fran to learn so many spells? Were their spell-sealing systems useless?

Moreover, he sensed that Fran's purpose was different; he felt that Fran had come specifically to eliminate the First Order knights behind him.

He knew that one of the main reasons Fran was able to kill so many knights right under his nose was that Fran possessed many Spell Ring.

He felt that the equipment he displayed in this battle alone was worth more than 150 Gold Coin.

The precious casting opportunity of the Spell Ring was wasted entirely on the knights behind him, as if she didn't even see him as a target.

If Fran had saved all of that for her fight against him, she might have had a real chance to kill him here, but Fran deliberately didn't do that.

Fran smiled when she saw the knight being protected by Connor to his side and said:

This is the last one.

Then, a burst of light suddenly erupted from Fran's longsword, obscuring the original red light and darkening the sky.

Connor's expression changed drastically as he sensed the Angel Pattern flashing across the longsword, but he was too late to stop Fran.

The light reached its peak the instant it appeared, overshadowing the light emitted by the sun in the sky.

When the light faded, Connor could only feel that his armor was almost completely destroyed, with a huge tear and a deep wound.

Behind him, breathing had stopped; only the sound of blood flowing on the ground could be heard.
