When Harbos announced the end of class, Elan was the first to rush forward, while the other apprentices still sat in their seats, faces blank with shock.
"Lord Harbos, could I have a word with you in private?"
Harbos sized Elan up at a glance and immediately saw through his situation.
A First Order Mage. Judging by the look of him, not elemental—he was from the Necromancy School. He had likely advanced many years ago, and the magic power around him was very stable.
"Certainly."
Everything he taught required hands-on practice. Without it, those apprentices would never learn.
He had never intended to stop during the first lesson to answer those apprentices' questions anyway. This was as good a time as any to deal with the matter.
"Why did he take the teacher away?"
Lai looked at Fran in confusion, but Fran had no idea what Elan was up to either.
"I don't know."
Fran watched Elan leave the classroom and scratched her head. She would just ask him next time she went to the Emerald Heart.
"By the way, are you planning to learn that Spell?"
Fran asked.
"No. That Spell isn't something apprentices like us can learn. Anyone who could master it has probably already advanced to become a formal Mage."
"Why do you say that?"
Fran was somewhat puzzled. Harbos had just demonstrated in detail how to practice that Spell and explained its principle as well—it materialized a weapon forged by oneself and could grant its user a certain degree of enhancement.
Though that intricate model structure was a little terrifying...
"Just looking at that Spell's structure, it's definitely a First Order Spell. How could apprentices like us possibly learn it...?"
