The female teacher wore a standard office lady outfit, which outlined her curvaceous figure in a perfect arc.
She appeared to be only in her early twenties, and in Hyuga Kamizuki's mind, if he were to rate her appearance on a scale of ten, she would easily score a nine.
The teacher sensed the gazes of the brats below the podium, but she merely smiled, no longer minding the stares of these children who hadn't even grown their hair out yet.
She picked up a piece of chalk from the lectern, turned around, and wrote three large characters on the blackboard: 'Sugita Tsubaki'.
After writing her name, she turned back around and spoke: "My name is Sugita Tsubaki, a Chunin instructor at Konoha Ninja School, and your homeroom teacher for Class 1-2."
Sugita Tsubaki paused for a moment before continuing: "Next, I would like everyone to come up to the podium one by one to introduce yourselves. Let's all get to know one another."
The first few to go up were minor background characters, so there is no need to go into detail.
Sugita Tsubaki called out: "Next, student Tenten."
Hearing her name, Tenten rose from her seat, smoothed her clothes, and walked to the podium with a confident air: "My name is Tenten, I am six years old. My favorite thing to do is collect all kinds of weapons and gear, and what I hate most is doing chores. My dream is to become an excellent 'Weapon Master'."
After finishing her introduction, Tenten gave a slight nod to Sugita Tsubaki and returned to her seat.
Sugita Tsubaki continued: "The next student is Hyuga Neji."
Hyuga Neji walked to the podium with a completely expressionless face, his tone cold as he introduced himself: "Hyuga Neji, six years old. I don't have many things I like, I don't want to talk about what I dislike, and I don't have any dreams."
When Hyuga Neji mentioned 'dislike', his eyes flickered toward Kamizuki.
After he finished his introduction, a chill seemed to sweep through the entire classroom.
However, the little girls in the audience stared at Neji with golden sparks in their eyes.
Don't get the wrong idea; what could six or seven-year-old brats possibly understand? These little girls were likely just following their natural instincts, inherently drawn to things that looked good.
After Neji finished, it was Rock Lee's turn. As he walked to the podium, he truly lived up to the name "Bushy Brows".
He walked up, scratched the back of his head with a silly, honest expression, and spoke with a hint of nervousness: "My name is... Rock Lee, I am six years old. I like eating meat and Taijutsu, I don't like... eating vegetables, and my dream... my dream is (at this point, Rock Lee squeezed his eyes shut and shouted with all his courage) my dream is to become an excellent ninja who can succeed using only Taijutsu, even if I cannot use any Ninjutsu at all."
After hearing Rock Lee's dream, all the students below the podium burst into laughter. None of them believed his dream could ever come true.
Just as Rock Lee was feeling stifled by the mockery of his classmates, he suddenly saw Kamizuki looking at him with an expression that said, "I believe in you." Feeling as if he had found hope, Rock Lee gave Kamizuki a look of pure gratitude.
Seeing the look Rock Lee sent his way, Kamizuki felt a shiver run down his spine. Damn it! What is that look for? I don't swing that way.
After Rock Lee finished his introduction, a few more minor characters—hardly even worth calling extras—came up to introduce themselves.
Finally, it was Kamizuki's turn. As soon as he stepped onto the podium, the little girls below couldn't sit still, their eyes filled with little stars.
Bathed in the admiring gazes of these girls, Kamizuki walked slowly to the podium, gave a slight bow to the beautiful teacher Sugita Tsubaki and the rest of the class, and spoke: "Hyuga Kamizuki, four years old. I like all kinds of delicious food, I hate being restricted, and my dream is to use my own strength to protect everyone and everything I hold dear."
Once Kamizuki finished his introduction, he had established a "noble and righteous" image in the hearts of the girls in his class, making the stars in their eyes shine even brighter.
The first day of class was simple, consisting mostly of introductions from teachers of various subjects, along with the basics of what they would be teaching and the necessity and importance of those subjects.
At four in the afternoon, Konoha Ninja School dismissed. By the end of the first day, Kamizuki had managed to get along quite well with almost everyone in his class.
The only exception was his cousin, Hyuga Neji, who was a bit difficult to deal with. Kamizuki knew the reason why, so he didn't take it to heart; after all, that matter wasn't easy to resolve. Kamizuki figured he would just take it slow.
When they returned to school the next day, everyone noticed that the classmates no longer felt like strangers, and the awkwardness of the first day had vanished.
Children are always like this; they integrate very easily. Often, they can play for a little while and become as close as brothers. That is simply the nature of children.
Whenever class ended, Rock Lee, Tenten, and a few other classmates loved to crowd around Kamizuki, asking him to tell them stories.
Kamizuki would act like a professional storyteller and begin his tales.
You might ask, how does a four-year-old brat like Kamizuki know so many stories to tell these six and seven-year-olds?
Heh... Kamizuki was a transmigrator from the 21st century. In his past life, he lived in a high-tech era with advanced information networks. Telling stories was child's play—it was far too easy. Kamizuki had so many tricks up his sleeve that he could fool these little bumpkins in the Naruto world for years!
Every day, he would tell these kids stories from Jin Yong, Gu Long, Chinese Paladin, Three Kingdoms, Journey to the West, Investiture of the Gods, and so on... there were so many stories from his great homeland that he probably couldn't finish them in a lifetime.
At first, only a few kids led by Rock Lee and Tenten listened to Kamizuki, but as he kept telling stories, the crowd grew larger and larger. Even the proud and aloof Neji couldn't resist the urge to listen and eventually joined the ranks of the audience.
Later, there were so many people listening to Kamizuki that even students from the next class would run over to Class 1-2 as soon as class ended to hear him speak.
Because of this, Kamizuki gained a resounding nickname at Konoha Ninja School: "Story Prince".
Time flew by like an arrow, and Kamizuki's first year of school passed in this cycle of listening to teachers during class and telling stories to others during breaks.
