Background

Jiang Che transmigrated to the Douluo Continent and was raised on Sea God Island after Mu En found and adopted him near Shrek Academy. At six, he awakened the Ice Dragon King martial soul, possessing Ultimate Ice and Innate Full Soul Power. Without a system in his early years, he cultivated relentlessly out of insecurity and awareness of the dangers ahead. 1 6

At age 22, Jiang Che reached the Title Douluo realm. His long-delayed system appeared immediately afterward and assigned him a novice mission to enroll at Shrek Academy, despite his existing status as an Inner Court student. He entered the freshman assessment posing as a twelve-year-old and concealed his cultivation to appear ordinary. 1 2

The mission reward gave him a second martial soul: the Holy Sword of Light. Its Ultimate Light attribute complements his Ultimate Ice, increasing the quality of his soul power and giving him a natural advantage against darkness, poison, and evil soul masters. 3 4
