As Spirit Hall prepared for the tournament, the Shrek group failed to gain Liu Erlong’s help and turned to Exotic Beast Academy for a chance to compete.

• Ling Han evolved Wang Dong'er's Martial Soul and transformed Wang Qiu'er's Golden Dragon bloodline with his essence blood, drawing Di Tian’s attention to their powerful auras.
• Ning Fengzhi, Chen Xin, and Gu Rong submitted the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect to Ling Han, who renamed it the Seven Treasures Hall and assigned Qi Xue to oversee its restructuring and relocation.
• Ling Han used his reward to summon Tang Ya, then received Zi Ji and gave her a Shapeshifting Pill that let her retain her full strength in human form.
• Wang Dong'er and Zi Ji fought to a draw in a destructive sparring match, while Bibi Dong prepared Spirit Hall’s Golden Generation for the tournament and gave Hu Liena a powerful Fox Tail Spirit Bone.
• Flender brought the Shrek group to Dragon Emperor Branch, where Liu Erlong refused to let them use its tournament slot or help them challenge Beast God Pavilion after hearing about Xiao Wu’s capture.
• After Liu Erlong sent them away, Flender led the Shrek group to Exotic Beast Academy, where Dean Rhode offered them its tournament slot if they reached the top ten in the Heaven Dou Empire division preliminaries.

Ling Han brought the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and three other sects into the Beast God Pavilion, then strengthened his forces and prepared a tournament team. After a month of training, Tang Ya’s team began testing its teamwork against powerful opponents.

• Ning Fengzhi led the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect to submit to Ling Han, who welcomed them and gave Chen Xin and Gu Rong powerful Soul Bones.
• Ling Han sent Qi Xue to manage the pavilion and led Wang Dong'er, Wang Qiu'er, and Ye Guyi to force the Sacred Dragon Sect, Rock Antelope Sect, and Sparrow Peak Sect to submit.
• Ling Han renamed the three sects as halls of the Beast God Pavilion, gained mission rewards, and summoned Xiao Xiao as a new ally.
• Ling Han returned to headquarters, assigned Qi Xue to oversee the new halls, and chose a team to represent the Beast God Pavilion in the tournament.
• Tang Ya, Ning Rongrong, Ye Lingling, Dugu Yan, Hu Yan Li, and Xiao Xiao introduced their abilities and struggled to coordinate in their first simulated battle.
• Tang Ya helped the team develop tactics and signals, and the members trained together for two weeks before facing Tuoba Shan’s group.

The Dawn Team prepared for the tournament as Beast God Pavilion clashed with Spirit Hall on the road to Spirit City. After Ling Han broke through to Level 50, he and Wang Dong'er and Wang Qiu'er hunted a Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear, leaving its 100,000-year Soul Ring to form.

• Tang Ya named the recovered seven-member squad the Dawn Team, and they trained together before attending Xue Ye’s palace banquet.
• At the banquet, Hu Liena and Xie Yue challenged Beast God Pavilion, while Qian Renxue tried to win Tang Ya over and Ning Fengzhi reunited with Ning Rongrong.
• Ling Han ordered the Dawn Team to win the tournament, and Qi Xue led them toward Spirit City, where the team repelled a mercenary ambush and Qi Xue defeated Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo.
• After reaching Spirit City, Ling Han refused Spirit Hall’s summons, and Wang Dong'er severed Ghost Leopard Douluo’s arm and killed two Titled Douluos who attacked her.
• Ling Han reached Level 50 and formed an Ice Hell Dragon Emperor Soul Core, then chose a Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear as his fifth Soul Ring target.
• Ling Han traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest with Wang Dong'er and Wang Qiu'er and found a wounded Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear battling two other 100,000-year soul beasts.
• Wang Qiu'er shattered the bear’s forelimb, and Ling Han froze and killed it with Dragon Emperor Manifestation and Earth Cease as its 100,000-year Soul Ring began to form.

Ling Han brought Long Xiaoyao into the Beast God Pavilion, whose strength became clear when Long Xiaoyao fought Qian Renliu to a draw. At the tournament, Dawn Team crushed the Star Luo team, while Spirit Hall Academy began overwhelming Tang San’s team.

• Ling Han absorbed the Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear’s 100,000-year Soul Ring and External Soul Bone, reaching level 55 and gaining a powerful claw ability.
• Ling Han used the Random Summoning Card, and Long Xiaoyao appeared, pledged loyalty to him, and alarmed Spirit City’s leaders.
• Long Xiaoyao and Qian Renliu fought to a draw in a remote valley, demonstrating that the Beast God Pavilion had a Limit Douluo who could match Spirit Hall’s Great Enshrined.
