The boy was sleeping soundly in bed, completely unaware that a door had appeared.

The door beside the boy's bed wasn't solid. It felt unreal, as though it would shatter if touched.
Faint Blood Threads flowed across the door, but it gave off no unpleasant aura at all. That was what puzzled Chen Ge most.
He had seen many Blood Doors, including the one at the Spirit Channeling School. Whenever any of them changed, the surroundings would immediately turn sinister and terrifying, and the air would fill with a pungent smell of blood. But this door was an exception.
It didn't feel threatening at all. Its appearance was more like a warning to the Little Boy.
