"He really does look like he's dead drunk." Chen Ge watched the monster slowly approach, pressed the Repeater's switch, and softly called Xu Yin's name.
To his surprise, Xu Yin didn't appear. Instead, the entire Apartment Building began to bleed, and fine cracks spread across the walls.
Only after communicating with Xu Yin did Chen Ge learn that some force seemed to be holding him back. He was trying to break through by force, but it would take some time.
"When I entered the World Behind the Door of the Underground Morgue, I encountered something similar. But the scene behind this door can't compare at all to Dr. Gao's Underground Morgue."
Chen Ge put the Repeater in his Backpack, took out the Skull Crusher Hammer, and stood in the hallway.
"I don't think there's any need to dodge."
The menacing hammer scraped against the peeling walls. Chen Ge waited for the monster to draw near, then swung at its arm.
The liquor bottle growing out of its flesh shattered with a loud crash. Glass shards sprayed everywhere and embedded themselves in the monster's body.

The monster couldn't feel pain. Even with its arm broken, it moved faster and faster. When it reached Chen Ge, it stretched out its other arm to grab his head and pressed its entire body against him.
"Looks like it has no self-awareness." Gripping the hammer with both hands, Chen Ge swung upward and smashed the monster's jaw.
Its already deformed head nearly came off, left hanging from its neck by a thin strip of skin.
The smell of alcohol in the air grew stronger. Once injured, the monster became even more ferocious and hideous.
