"Was there really a child who couldn't be killed, no matter what?" Chen Ge lifted his head and gazed through the gray canopy of trees at the pale sky.
Even if he was willing to befriend that child, the child still had no friends, because he might be that child.
"I don't believe a child like that could exist in this world. If he really did, I'd be his friend." Chen Ge answered with absolute certainty. Then he looked at the girl again. "By the way, how did you know he couldn't be killed, no matter what?"
As soon as Chen Ge asked the question, a long crack appeared in the transparent fish tank, and the water inside began to leak out.
What was worth noting was that the clear water turned murky and pale gray as it flowed through the crack.
The water level kept dropping, and the Blood-Red Goldfish struggled more and more violently. Wounds began to appear on its body, and the water in the tank slowly turned red.

Cold light fell upon them. They stood on either side of the forest's exit, where they could see the distant buildings bleeding.
