The Old Mansion had stood for many years. The ground was paved with weathered stone slabs, and the walls were built of blue bricks, with yellow Talisman Paper stuffed into the gaps between them.

The courtyard was ordinary, with nothing particularly remarkable about it, yet looking at it always made people feel uneasy. Perhaps it was because of all the Talisman Paper.

When Chen Ge pushed open the vermilion Red Door, a strong moldy stench drifted out from within the courtyard walls. Yellowed Spirit Money was scattered across the ground, white Inverted Fortune charms were pasted on the pillars, and the roof was covered with Paper Effigies.

He went farther inside and entered the main hall. A Bronze Mirror stood in the center, with a Sacrificial Text written across its surface. In front of it were the heads of a pig, a sheep, and an ox, along with a Bronze Incense Burner holding three Broken Incense sticks.

"Are those pig, sheep, and ox heads real?"

Before he even got close, Chen Ge could smell the strange odor coming from the offerings. They had already gone rotten, but Paradise Park didn't seem inclined to replace them.

"I never thought I'd see such a traditional scene in the Virtual Future Park."

Keeping clear of the Bronze Mirror, Chen Ge looked around. Twenty-four Evil Ghost Paintings hung on the walls of the main hall. Each ghost in the paintings was missing a part of its body: some lacked an eye, while others were missing a leg.

"Why are all the ghosts incomplete? Is it because they're afraid that if they painted them whole, the ghosts would climb out of the paintings?"

The paintings on the walls looked old, and didn't seem to be reproductions.

Chen Ge walked over to an Evil Ghost Portrait.
