The Land of Rain.
Uzumaki Reikawa took a step forward, and the wheelchair ahead of him rolled a step back.
Watching Nagato maintain a safe distance from him, Uzumaki Reikawa felt a vein throb on his forehead. "What exactly are you being so awkward about?"
"You want your legs healed, right?"
"You want to be a god, right?"
"You want to capture the Tailed Beasts and make the world feel pain, right?"
"..."
Nagato sat expressionless in his wheelchair, though his eyes seemed to drift to the side. Those were indeed his plans, but hearing them put that way somehow made him want to die of embarrassment.
"I know Medical Ninjutsu, but I'm not a prophet, and I can't see through things! So please show me your legs!" Uzumaki Reikawa snapped, showing none of the respect supposedly owed to his leader.
After all, if they really wanted to get technical, Uzumaki Reikawa was old enough to be Nagato's grandfather.
Nagato seemed to have finally listened and stayed put. With a dead-eyed look, Uzumaki Reikawa crouched down to examine his legs, which appeared nearly healed.
However, the white zetsu cells were so deathly pale that even against Nagato's skin, which had gone without sunlight for so long, the difference in color was quite noticeable.
Nagato remained silent, his Rinnegan betraying neither joy nor anger, his thoughts unreadable. He felt he ought to assert his authority as the leader of the Akatsuki and teach Uzumaki Reikawa a lesson.
For some reason, though, he ultimately did nothing. Besides, it probably would have had little effect on this guy anyway.
By now, Nagato had largely accepted that Uzumaki Reikawa looked like him. Still, watching that face bob around in front of him inevitably felt a little bizarre.
Watching Uzumaki Reikawa work, Nagato suddenly asked,
