Seeing Food return for some reason, Hashirama craned his head to look in the direction Food had been heading. Yet no matter how he sensed, he could not detect any problem ahead.
Just as he was about to ask, a familiar chakra suddenly approached his position rapidly from behind.
Rarely, Hashirama felt an incomparable sense of familiarity toward that chakra.
As the distance closed, Uchiha Madara subconsciously frowned at the sight ahead. Hashirama seemed afraid Madara would miss him, raising his right hand and waving it back and forth as though greeting him.
He looked as though he had encountered an old friend, just like back when they had not yet gone their separate ways over conflicting ideals.
Throughout this, Shi said nothing. Like a little follower, he silently stayed close to Hashirama. Since escape was impossible, remaining near Hashirama was the safest choice.
"Madara, how did you find this place?"
"A guy calling himself Yuan brought me here. Did you learn anything?" As Madara spoke, his gaze fell on Food. There were only two people there, so Food stood out glaringly.
Hashirama's expression brightened. "Yuan? Was it Uchiha Gen? Did he say anything to you?"
