Background / History

Ling Feng is a transmigrator from Blue Star and the son of Qiangu Xiaoye and Tuoba Yue'er. His father wields the mutated Dark Coiling Dragon Staff, while his mother originates from the Holy Dragon Sect and possesses the White Armored Earth Dragon martial soul. His paternal clan was nearly exterminated, leaving Qiangu Xiaoye as its sole surviving child; the surviving elders Thousand Jun and Falling Devil raised him within Martial Soul Hall. 1 6

At his awakening ceremony, Ling Feng initially manifests a black-and-gold Coiling Dragon Staff. The staff is not his true martial soul, but a companion divine artifact housing two dormant dragons. Further awakening reveals the Radiant Sacred Dragon and Dark Sacred Dragon, two peak dragon-type beast martial souls kept in balance through the staff. 2 3

Ling Feng is calm, calculating, and unusually mature for his age. He routinely considers the long-term consequences of power, alliances, soul-ring choices, and public actions. He refuses an unsuitable torso bone despite its value, distributes immortal herbs to strengthen Martial Soul Hall, and deliberately keeps dangerous abilities such as Evil God Devour secret. 6 28 75

He is protective toward those he considers his people. After Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan are adopted into his household, he establishes himself as their elder brother and promises to protect them from anyone who harms them. 11
