Chen Lie helped repel the Star Bandits, began life at Starry Sky University, and rapidly advanced through the Wasteland trials and the Void Heaven Pagoda. Needing Divine Source for further cultivation, he joined an expedition to Ancient Star No. 7, where a clash between rival forces was underway.
Chen Lie seized mining territories on the Ancient Star, cultivated the Origin-Heaven Qi-Gathering Scripture, and returned to Starry Sky University. After impressing the Martial Way Department with his true-qi strength, he joined a demon-hunting mission and became Trial Group No. 32’s main force.
Chen Lie used his mental power and combat skill to help Cloudrain Peak’s trial team, then traded Divine Source for Yuan Stones and joined Starry Sky University’s Martial Way Department. He advanced his cultivation and comprehended four of the five elements, and Chu Ling’er arranged for him to use her special pass to the Divine Intent Cave.
Chen Lie became a Dual-Department Student, gathered Innate Spirit Jade for Blue Star, and pursued the Five Elements and Martial Dao True Intents while Shen Jiuxi continued to hunt him. After breaking through to the Early Second-Order Roaming Qi Realm, he was ordered to return and tend the spirit field he had drained.
Chen Lie dominated the freshman competitions at Starry Sky University and won the university championship, earning Blue Star a Dazzling-Gold Martial Seal Medal. He agreed to return to Blue Star for the Four-Sided Star Domain contest after arranging for Shen Jiuxi to care for the spirit field.
Chen Lie led the Eastern Star Region’s team through preparations for the command contest and won command of the 19th Legion after defeating the Southern Star Region almost alone. After the other regions agreed to form the allied forces, Chen Lie went to the Crown Prince’s residence to demand the seal and remind Qin Zhenling of her debt.
Chen Lie returned to Blue Star after the contest victory, instructed martial artists, and held a banquet attended by guests from many planets before returning to Starry Sky University. The stretch ended with An Chuo securing cultivation opportunities, negotiating a Divine Source trade with the Jin Kingdom, and continuing his training.
