Xu Huai fled after the Holy Dynasty pledged itself to Xinyu, while Gu Xiangnan considered bringing Jiang Kingdom under its protection.

• Xu Huai recognized that Zeng Shilin was still Second Rank and attacked him and the forces in the ravine with silver threads carrying Dao Sect destiny.
• Zeng Anmin freed the Princess from the silver chains, but she fainted after urging him to protect the little fat emperor.

Realizing Qinghai Bay might face Kunpeng, Xu Huai, and the Dao Head of the Sword Sect, Zeng Anmin took Dongfang Cang there, where Xu Huai and the Dao Head were already hovering over Lingyun Mountain.

Kunpeng emerged from the Han River to face the two First Ranks, and their battle began as Zeng Anmin and Dongfang Cang moved to protect Lingyun City.

• Xu Huai and the Dao Head approached Lingyun City and discussed seizing the Demon Race’s destiny and Xu Huai’s plan to deal with Shen Nian.
• The Illusory Demon Lord and Shen Nian appeared across the Han River, and Xu Huai challenged them.
• The Illusory Demon Lord and Shen Nian called upon Old Ancestor Kunpeng, while Shen Nian exposed Xu Huai’s past betrayal and then died from the strain of operating a First Rank formation.

After surviving their first clash, Kunpeng launched another attack, and the Dao Head answered with a strike powered by generations of Dao Sect sages, leaving Kunpeng on the brink of death.

• Zeng Anmin and Dongfang Cang arrived at Lingyun Mountain and saw Xu Huai and the Dao Head trapping Kunpeng over the Han River.
• The Dao Head attacked with the Sky-Slaying Sword, but Kunpeng revealed its immense true form, broke Xu Huai’s whisk net, and summoned the waters of the South Sea and Han River into a colossal hammer.

As the battle turned in their favor, Zeng Anmin used the Primordial Dragon and Dongfang Cang’s restraint to stab Xu Huai through the heart.
