The Price of Loyalty

Among the many Abyssal planes, the 422nd layer of the Abyss was considered fairly large. Its area was at least comparable to the main world before it fused with the Totem Continent—perhaps even larger.

However, a plane's strength depended not only on its size, but also on the number and power of its inhabitants, as well as its environment. Though the 422nd layer was large, it had only a few hundred thousand creatures in total, mostly jackalmen and human slaves, while the rest were mindless beasts. In the eyes of many demon lords, the 422nd layer was utterly desolate.
