The Scythe of Death awakened in Qian Anci at age six. It appeared as an icy-black scythe wreathed in gray-white death energy, accompanied by a fleeting bone-dragon shadow. Observers mistook that shadow for a residual manifestation of the scythe rather than recognizing it as Qian Anci's second martial soul, Polydeuces. Xia Die identifies the scythe's power as an authority feared even by gods. 1
During Qian Renxue's awakening, the scythe reacted violently to her Six-Winged Angel. Its death energy clashed with the Angel's holy light, establishing an inherent antagonism between the two powers. 2
Qian Anci selected a Death Scythe Dragon Lizard exceeding 1,200 years for the scythe's first ring, despite the conventional first-ring limit.
