Background / History

Dugu Bo's family suffered from the inherited toxicity of the Jade Phosphorous Serpent Martial Soul. When his son Dugu Xin learned that Xu Mingxi possessed a possible antidote method, Dugu Bo began seeking rare medicinal treasures and considered entering Sunset Forest ahead of schedule. 23 24

He and Dugu Xin discovered the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well in Sunset Forest. After Xu Mingxi and the Star Crown Sect assisted him in hunting the Poison Spirit Flood Dragon, Dugu Bo absorbed its soul ring, transformed his venom, and brought the group to the well as repayment. 41 42

Following his breakthrough to Titled Douluo, Dugu Bo became known as the Poison Douluo. Numerous powers sought to court him, including the Upper Three Sects and the Heaven Dou Imperial Family; he ultimately left Heaven Dou City under the pretext of gathering herbs to escape this pressure. 48

Dugu Bo gradually aligned himself with the Star Crown Sect for the security of his descendants. He brought his family to the sect during continental unrest, and Dugu Yan grew up there alongside its younger generation. 104 Later, he transferred ownership of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well to the sect in exchange for access to its herb storehouse and a promise of protection for the Dugu Family. 107

Discovery of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well

After the hunt, Dugu Bo led the group to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, the treasure site he and Dugu Xin had discovered. He later joined Xu Mingxi in identifying and retrieving Immortal Herbs from the area. 42 43 46
