Chapter Summaries

Hiruzen Sarutobi and the surviving expeditionary force returned to Konoha, where the village welcomed them as heroes. After Taiichi reported on Moryo and Akatsuki, Minato resolved to have the Five Great Nations publicly target Akatsuki, and Taiichi went to the Uchiha Compound to discuss Itachi’s Sharingan with Fugaku.

• Minato and the villagers welcomed the returning force, and Taiichi sent Jiangtai, Yami, and Itachi home while asking Itachi to tell his father he would visit.
