Seeing this, Tsunade was about to wake Uchiha Nagi.
"Lady Tsunade, please wait," the Yamanaka Clan Head called out.
"Is something wrong?" Tsunade asked, puzzled.
The Yamanaka Clan Head quickly told her what he had seen.
"So Nagi's spiritual energy is far beyond that of children his age, and it might overwhelm his body, making him extremely sleepy?" Tsunade furrowed her brows.
"That's only my guess, but it is possible. We may need to examine him a few more times to determine what's going on," the Yamanaka Clan Head replied.
Then he hesitated.
"Yamanaka senior, you can speak freely here," Tsunade said, noticing his hesitation.
"Then forgive me for speaking out of turn." The Yamanaka Clan Head looked at Uchiha Nagi.
"Though I've never used my technique to examine another Uchiha, I can say with certainty that Uchiha Nagi is an outlier even among the Uchiha Clan."
"Such an unusual trait may well indicate talent far beyond that of ordinary people."
"His talent may not be fully apparent yet, but once his body is strong enough to withstand his spiritual energy, I fear..."
The Uchiha Clan might have another Kage Level shinobi.
The Yamanaka Clan Head left the last part unsaid, but Tsunade understood what he meant.
She looked at Uchiha Nagi, still asleep, with mixed feelings. She hadn't expected the Yamanaka Clan Head to think so highly of him.
As the First's granddaughter, she shouldn't have held too strong a prejudice against the Uchiha Clan. But...
The events of recent years, along with her Second Hokage grandfather's attitude, made it impossible for her to regard the Uchiha with complete impartiality.

"Also, don't tell my teacher about Nagi's situation for now," Tsunade added after a moment's thought.

It wouldn't be ideal to keep this from the Third Hokage, but offending Tsunade over it would hardly be worth it.
So the best outcome was to act as if he knew nothing.
"Let's leave it at that for today. We can examine Nagi again when we have time."
Tsunade glanced at Uchiha Nagi. Since she had chosen to help him, she would see it through instead of giving up halfway.
"All right. Just let me know when you have time, Lady Tsunade."
After exchanging a few more pleasantries with Tsunade, the Yamanaka Clan Head left the office.

Tsunade couldn't help tapping Uchiha Nagi on the head. This really did put her in a difficult position.
After thinking it over, Tsunade finally woke Uchiha Nagi.
"Big Sis Tsunade, where's the Yamanaka senior?" Uchiha Nagi glanced around the room but didn't see the Yamanaka Clan Head.
He really had fallen asleep just then. It wasn't that he couldn't wake up; in fact, he had been watching the Yamanaka Clan Head the whole time and could have woken as soon as he left.
The problem was that he couldn't actually wake up.
Pretending to be asleep was an option, but doing that in front of Tsunade and the Yamanaka Clan Head...

"Big Sis Tsunade, my problem hasn't always been there. It only started recently. If that were really the cause, I should've had this problem all along."
Tsunade was taken aback. Then she rubbed her temples. She hadn't even thought of something so obvious.
As expected, the Yamanaka Clan Head's words had thrown her off.
"Mm, you're right. We'll discuss it after the next examination," Tsunade said.
"All right."
Uchiha Nagi nodded. Now that he understood this really had only been an examination, and that the Yamanaka Clan Head wouldn't use the opportunity to probe his memories, he felt much more at ease.
Still, he couldn't let the Yamanaka Clan Head move freely around his mental space next time.
And though the Yamanaka Clan Head's theory was wrong, it had given him a new angle to consider.
Uchiha Nagi suddenly thought about his training, especially his chakra control.
His training should have been getting harder and harder, but that hadn't happened. It had even given him the false impression that his talent was improving.
But what if his spiritual energy was simply growing rapidly on its own?
And as it grew, it had exceeded what his body could handle, causing his problem.
In other words, his body needed him to rest so it could bear the excess spiritual energy.
That would also explain why training felt easier and easier.
