Facing Madara, whose fighting spirit blazed fiercely ahead of him, Hashirama clasped his hands together without hesitation. Senjutsu Chakra surged from within him like a flood.
The ground shook violently as a massive wooden dragon roared into existence, opening its huge maw as it lunged at Madara.
The wooden dragon streaked through the air, setting off piercing sonic booms.
Madara looked at the surging wooden dragon, a flash of disdain crossing his eyes.
He did not even move his feet. He merely extended the Long Halberd before him, aiming its tip at the wooden dragon's head.
The instant the wooden dragon touched the tip of the Long Halberd, its entire body began shattering inch by inch from its head. In less than a breath, it became splintered wood flying across the sky!
Madara withdrew his Long Halberd, his breathing not even disturbed.
But before he could fully lower the Long Halberd to his side, the ground beneath his feet began shaking even more violently.

Hashirama's shout came from above.
A gigantic wooden golem instantly rose from the ground, carrying Hashirama atop its head as it charged toward Madara.
The wooden golem stood dozens of yards tall. It swung a fist as large as a small mountain and smashed it down at Madara below with all its might.
As the fist fell, the entire earth let out a dull groan beneath the blow. The already cratered ground split open again, and even the distant sea rippled with layer upon layer of small waves.
Dust rose from the ground like a waterfall, shrouding the entire area in a hazy yellow gloom.
Hashirama stared gravely below, but his heart suddenly sank.
