The more Orochimaru thought about it, the more promising the idea seemed. He felt he had come up with something brilliant.
Even if Kabuto turned evil in the end and wanted to destroy the world, they could simply bring Nonō out. Not only would he immediately turn back into that sweet, naive Kabuto, he might even thank Orochimaru for it.
Orochimaru fantasized about acquiring a tireless worker who could toil away twenty-four hours a day. Meanwhile, he made an incision in Hidan's body with his scalpel. His hand slipped a little, leaving a long, bloody cut.
At the sight of the spurting blood, Tsunade instinctively turned away, trembling all over.
Fortunately, her earlier preparations proved useful. She immediately cast an illusion technique on herself, turning everything in her sight black and white. Only then did she dare turn back to look directly at Hidan.
In truth, hemophobia was a psychological barrier. If Tsunade had wanted to get it under control, she could have overcome it on her own long ago.
But Tsunade had been trapped in the past, unable to pull herself free. Now, after meeting the new Hokage and hearing from Kaho about some of the changes in Konoha, she had taken the initiative to visit Orochimaru and ask about the current situation.
Of course, that did not mean she wanted to return to Konoha, much less become some damned puppet Daimyo under Uchiha Genya's control.
Before this, she had genuinely only wanted to see an old friend she had not met in a long time.
What surprised Tsunade, however, was that the long, bloody cut Orochimaru had just made miraculously healed after he sutured it and applied the Mystical Palm Technique.
It was as though Hidan had never been injured at all.
Tsunade frowned slightly at the sight.
