A Different Time and Space

Fugaku was off duty today and was not on duty at the Security Division.

In truth, he had expended a great deal of ocular power during his battle with Otsutsuki Urashiki. His vision was still somewhat blurred, so he was recuperating at home.

After learning this, the two of them headed to the Uchiha Clan Compound.

Now that they no longer had any worries holding them back, Sasuke felt it was time to meet his parents and properly catch up.

When he arrived at the entrance to the Uchiha Clan Compound, Sasuke felt somewhat dazed.

This was not the Uchiha Clan Compound he remembered. In his time and space, after the Night of the Nine-Tails, the Uchiha Clan Compound had been moved to the edge of the village.

He had not even been a year old back then, so he had almost no memories of this place.

He had only heard the elders of the clan say that the Uchiha Clan Compound had once stood in the center of the village.

The current Hokage was an Uchiha clan member, so naturally no one would force them to relocate their compound again.

Standing before the unfamiliar yet clearly older Uchiha Clan Compound, Sasuke did not know how he felt.

This was not the compound he knew, but in this time and space, the Uchiha clan was living very well. It was even plain to see that their future would only get better.

The ninja guarding the compound gates hesitated when he saw Sasuke, unsure of what attitude he should take.

After all, the other man looked like an Uchiha too. He simply did not know why he had never seen him within the clan before.
