When Obito first noticed the change in how they treated him, he nearly lost his mind with rage.

They had no respect for him at all. It was outrageous!

He was one of the founding members of the Akatsuki Organization, after all.

At the time, Obito had wanted to tell them he was the one who had made the Nine-Tails run wild and caused the deaths of the Fourth Hokage and the previous Nine-Tails Jinchuriki. Then he would see who dared look down on him.
