A Temporary Farewell to Young Goku

A loud "Boom" echoed through the air.

The sound came from Young Goku's side; the moment their fists collided, the Great Ape-form Young Goku, having taken a punch that far exceeded his own strength, was sent flying backward into a building, causing the familiar sound of a structure collapsing under the strain.

"Roar!" The Great Ape Young Goku rose to his feet and let out several angry bellows, clearly unwilling to accept such a defeat.

But in the blink of an eye, Zhou Zilong had already appeared behind Young Goku and leaped high into the air.

Once the energy had condensed and extended about twenty centimeters past his fingertips, Zhou Zilong, while falling, slashed down fiercely toward Young Goku's tail.

Although the Great Ape Young Goku sensed the danger and instinctively tried to dodge the attack, the moment he attempted to move, Zhou Zilong swung his sword-like aura without hesitation, striking the tail.

In an instant, Young Goku's massive Great Ape tail was severed, and the Great Ape Young Goku felt the power within him gradually draining away.

"Great! I knew Zilong could do it," Bulma cheered at the sight.

On the other side, the Great Ape Young Goku, still in a state of lost reason, instantly shrank back to his original, cute, and naive appearance.

Zhou Zilong landed and, as if performing a magic trick, produced a set of clothes similar to Young Goku's original outfit, draping them over him to prevent him from catching a cold (though Goku had no idea what a cold was).

"Could you please be my master and teach me martial arts?" Yamcha immediately walked over and asked Zhou Zilong sincerely.

"I am not suited to be your master, and I have no plans to take on any disciples right now! You can go find my master, Master Mutian, to learn," Zhou Zilong politely declined.

"I see. That was presumptuous of me!" Yamcha replied with a hint of disappointment.

"I suggest you go and ask my master, Master Mutian. I believe his guidance would be the most suitable for you," Zhou Zilong replied.

"Alright, I understand. Thank you for the advice," Yamcha said after bowing.

"By the way, Zilong, how did you know that the tail was the weakness of Goku when he turned into a giant ape?" Iris asked curiously as she approached Zhou Zilong, who was now standing next to Bulma.

"Because Goku, like me, is not from this planet. He and I come from the same race in the universe; we are Saiyans. The Great Ape transformation is a special ability of our race, and this ability stems from a specific type of energy: Blutz Waves. The moon reflects the sun's light, and after being reflected, it produces a light wave called Blutz Waves. During a full moon, these Blutz Waves can reach over 18 million hertz. This allows Saiyans to receive the Blutz Waves through their eyes, triggering a reaction in their tails that causes them to transform into Great Apes!" Zhou Zilong began to explain to the others.

After finishing his explanation, Zhou Zilong revealed the tail wrapped around his waist.

Seeing Zhou Zilong say this, everyone except Bulma wore an expression of shock.

"That's not right. I remember you also looked at the full moon earlier, so why didn't you turn into a Great Ape like Goku after seeing it?" Iris asked, puzzled.

"Because my Saiyan bloodline is naturally quite special. After looking at the full moon, I can control whether or not I want to transform into a Great Ape!" Zhou Zilong explained with a slight upward curl of his lips.

After chatting for a while, the group drifted off into dreamland.

After resting for about five hours, the group woke up one after another. Just like in the original story, Young Goku lost his balance for a moment upon waking, then stood up and began to grope around, curious about why his tail was gone.

The others immediately provided cover with their own stories. Young Goku, not thinking much of it, stumbled toward the site of the collapse to search for his Power Pole.

"Zilong, I'm heading off now!" Young Goku said to Zhou Zilong after finding his Power Pole and returning.

"Goku, are you preparing to go to my master's place to apprentice and train?" Zhou Zilong asked, having realized his intent.

"Yeah, coming out this time, I discovered that the world is huge and there are more strong people than I imagined. My training isn't enough yet. To become even stronger, I'm going to train with Grandpa Turtle!" Young Goku nodded and said.

"You're right. I had the same realization when I went out to train and gain experience. However, I'm very much looking forward to sparring with you once you've become stronger!" Zhou Zilong extended his fist toward Young Goku and said.

"Me too. I'm still quite far behind you, and I look forward to sparring with you again after I've grown stronger!" Young Goku replied after bumping fists.
