"Damn, did Kazer take some kind of drug? I can feel his ki still surging!" Zhou Zilong smashed through the spaceship's alloy door with one punch, an unprecedented sense of urgency welling up inside him.
The spaceship's interior was a tangled maze, with unknown dangers hidden at every turn. Relying on his extraordinary senses and keen instincts, Zhou Zilong made his way through the maze, searching for Kazer.
"Pong! Pong! Pong!" As Zhou Zilong unleashed the "Prince Style," powerful energy blasts rampaged through the spaceship, reducing every obstacle to nothing.
Meanwhile, Kazer's transformation seemed to be nearing its end. Almost everyone who had come in with him had been absorbed, and he had grown considerably taller.
"It's about time I settled things with that guy. He made me endure so much humiliation!" Kazer said murderously, twisting his body.
"Die!" Just as Zhou Zilong was about to use the "Prince Style" again, a fist packed with immense force came hurtling toward him.
"Not good!" Zhou Zilong reacted in time and turned, crossing his arms in front of himself to block.
"Boom!!" The blow sent Zhou Zilong flying, and he crashed into a pile of ruins.
Zhou Zilong immediately scanned Kazer.
Kazer: [Race] Scale-Head Star People [Height] 2.89 meters [Weight] 221 kg [Battle Power] 48 million (normal battle power: 800,000)
"Damn, what kind of drug did this guy take? He's seriously strong," Zhou Zilong grumbled after scanning him.
"Side effects or not, I'll deal with the crisis in front of me first!" Zhou Zilong muttered, preparing to use more than ten times Kaioken beyond his limits.
"You want to use that weird move again? Dream on!" Kazer's voice rang with unshakable resolve. He moved like lightning, his fierce uppercut slicing through the air and striking straight at Zhou Zilong's face.
Zhou Zilong barely managed to dodge to the side, but the tremendous force still sent him hurtling into the air. He spat out blood, and the air filled with its heavy, metallic stench.
How could Kazer let such a golden opportunity slip away? He flashed above Zhou Zilong and drove an elbow into his stomach with unerring precision. Stomach acid and a groan of pain burst out of him.
Then came another devastating whip kick, sending Zhou Zilong flying into the air again, as if Kazer meant to unleash all his humiliation and resentment through one relentless assault.
"This isn't over!" Kazer's eyes blazed with a crazed fighting spirit. He stayed on Zhou Zilong's heels, each attack carrying enough force to destroy him, determined to crush him completely.
Just when the outcome seemed all but decided, everything suddenly changed.
Zhou Zilong endured the pain in midair, his gaze burning bright. Red ki surged out of him, warping the air around him with its heat. With a low growl, he seemed to be pulled into position by an invisible force. He crossed his palms and barely managed to block Kazer's potentially lethal strike.
"Turn your own moves against you!" The counterattack had begun. Zhou Zilong was no longer a passive defender. He became the eye of a storm, copying Kazer's earlier moves and launching his own counterattack with even greater speed.
Fists howled and legs blurred. Every attack was precise and deadly. After five or six exchanges, the air between them seemed to tear apart, leaving only a series of thunderous booms.
"Crack!" As Kazer's strength faltered from his continuous attacks and he began to fall, Zhou Zilong seized the fleeting opportunity and slammed a punch into his back.
"I have to end this quickly. Kaioken at seventeen times really isn't easy to use." Zhou Zilong muttered as he felt the ache spreading through his body. But his gaze grew more resolute. He knew this battle tested not only his body, but also his will and conviction.
The moment Kazer rose into the air to widen the gap, Zhou Zilong leaped after him, preparing to land a lethal blow. But the familiar energy shield lit up around Kazer once more, like a guardian deity, blocking every attack.
"That weird thing again!" Zhou Zilong roared. His fists, wrapped in blazing red ki, slammed into the seemingly impenetrable barrier like meteors. One punch, two, three... Each blow made space tremble. At last, the energy shield shattered like glass, cracks spreading everywhere before it vanished completely.
Kazer had lost his last line of defense. The crucial button device at his waist burst apart beneath Zhou Zilong's heavy punch, emitting a piercing alarm. But Zhou Zilong didn't let his guard down. He knew the fight would only truly end once he had defeated his opponent completely.
Without his shield, Kazer fled in a panic, darting in every direction in search of a way to escape. But Zhou Zilong wasn't about to let him get away. He flashed in front of Kazer, his fists whistling straight toward the vital points.
At that decisive moment, however, the power inside Zhou Zilong suddenly went out of control. The strain of Kaioken at seventeen times had reached its limit, and his strength ebbed away like a receding tide, leaving him with a mere 2.3 million battle power. His punch landed on Kazer like a gentle breeze, doing no damage at all.
"Damn! Why am I failing now of all times?" Zhou Zilong cursed inwardly.
"I'll find a way to put some distance between us, eat a Senzu Bean, then use Kaioken to finish him off!" Zhou Zilong began to think through his options.
As if Kazer had read his mind, he closed in like a phantom just as Zhou Zilong began backing away. His legs unleashed a storm of kicks—thrusts, stomps, and sweeps—each blow carrying enough force to shake mountains and landing squarely on Zhou Zilong.
"Cough! Cough!" Zhou Zilong was kicked away and crashed hard onto the sand. His violent coughing shook his chest; each breath felt like a challenge to the limits of his life.
"This isn't over!" Kazer sneered, his laugh full of contempt for the weak.
Kazer strode over to Zhou Zilong and clamped one massive hand around his head like an iron vise, dragging him mercilessly across the ground. Sand and gravel scattered beneath Zhou Zilong, leaving a trail of dust in their wake. Then Kazer jerked up his knee and drove it into Zhou Zilong's stomach with such force that it seemed as if all his internal organs would be crushed.
"Other than that irritating Frieza, you're the first person to make me suffer a loss. Before you become my nourishment, you'd better savor my revenge!" A touch of madness flashed in Kazer's eyes.
As he spoke, Kazer interlaced his fingers and brought his hands together, turning them into an invisible sledgehammer. Every swing landed with a deafening thud, smashing into Zhou Zilong. Zhou Zilong's body was like a candle flickering in the wind, on the verge of collapse. His consciousness grew hazy, but the flame deep within him had not gone out.
"No, I'll be finished if this keeps up. I have to find a way to get some distance!" Zhou Zilong roared inwardly, forcing himself to focus what little willpower he had left.
