Amidst the ruins inside the spaceship, where dust and smoke wove a tapestry of doomsday, Kazer curled his hands into claws, condensing purple-black energy as he prepared to deliver a fatal blow to Zhou Zilong.
Facing Kazer's oppressive aura, Zhou Zilong used his spatial abilities to feed himself a Senzu Bean before setting his hands into the starting stance of the Kamehameha, clearly preparing to trigger the Kaioken once more to meet the challenge.
"Zilong, a friendly tip: you can use the Solar Flare to create an opening, then use the Artificial Moon to transform into a Great Ape. Your power will multiply, and the burden won't be as heavy as the Kaioken (Zhou Zilong's transformation increases combat power by 20 times)! Also, don't forget to utilize your spatial abilities," Xiao Ling's voice rang in Zhou Zilong's ear, like the most solid of backings.
Right, how could I forget that move! My lack of real combat experience is really showing, Zhou Zilong thought to himself. He took a deep breath, spread the fingers of both hands, and suddenly, a dazzling light erupted from his palms, instantly illuminating the entire ruin. This was the legendary "Solar Flare."
Under the intense glare, Kazer was forced to close his eyes to protect his fragile vision.
Taking advantage of this brief moment of blindness, Zhou Zilong quickly executed the Flight Technique, weaving through the air like a phantom before landing steadily in a relatively safe area. Upon landing, he held his left palm upward and began to condense an Artificial Moon; a circular ball of light, with a small blue outer ring and a large inner core, took shape in his hand.
Seeing Kazer closing in, Zhou Zilong feigned an attack and threw the orb. Kazer, while moving, saw this and tilted his head slightly, dodging it directly.
"Well, your final attack has been dodged by me. Now, be a good boy and become my nourishment!" Kazer arrived before Zhou Zilong and spoke in the tone of a hunter.
"I've been rebellious since I was a kid. I never listen to what others say, and since you look like someone I wouldn't listen to anyway, your words are even less worth hearing!" Zhou Zilong said after glancing toward the direction of the light orb.
"Hmph, still running your mouth when death is at your doorstep!" Kazer sneered, his eyes filled with disdain and mockery.
"Big lizard, just you wait!" Zhou Zilong's words carried a sense of unyielding defiance, and a strange light flickered in his eyes—the hunger for victory.
Kazer frowned, his confusion deepening. He truly couldn't fathom how such a Zhou Zilong could turn the tide. However, in the very next moment, an astonishing change quietly occurred.
Amidst the ruins, Zhou Zilong stared at the orb emitting a warm glow, and then his body began to mutate. Brown-black fur gradually covered his skin, his muscles expanded, and his frame grew rapidly as if inflated, ultimately transforming him into a massive, 40-meter-tall Great Ape.
"Damn it, I never expected this guy to be of the Saiyan race! No wonder he had such confidence!" Kazer was shocked, and in an instant, he understood everything.
"But I remember the Saiyan race was wiped out by Frieza many years ago, and I never heard of such a powerful Saiyan existing back then. Could he be that exiled genius warrior from before?" Kazer muttered to himself, complex emotions surging in his heart.
"I understand now. That orb just now wasn't an attack on me, but an Artificial Moon!" Kazer's voice carried a hint of realization, but more so a wariness of this unknown power. He knew well that Saiyans gained astonishing strength on the night of a full moon, and this suddenly appearing "moon" was undoubtedly a carefully laid plan by Zhou Zilong to boost his combat power.
Without a moment's hesitation, Kazer quickly mobilized all the energy in his body. A brilliant light flared between his hands as a dazzling orb took shape. He swung forward violently, and the orb tore through the air, heading straight for the energy orb suspended in the sky.
Clearly, Kazer intended to destroy that energy orb. It was evident that Kazer had some knowledge of the characteristics of Saiyans, but his attack was like a stone cast into the sea, causing not the slightest reaction.
"Big lizard, although your strength is higher than mine in my base state, I regret to tell you that when I created the Artificial Moon, I injected an Energy Protection Barrier into it. Your combat power hasn't exceeded 30 times my own, so you can't break it," the transformed Great Ape Zhou Zilong said to Kazer.
That Energy Protection Barrier was the ring of blue energy Zhou Zilong had injected while creating the Artificial Moon. It was a technique evolved after he grasped the basics of the defense laws from books he exchanged for in Xiao Ling's super system. After testing, he found it could block attacks up to 30 times his own combat power. Of course, this barrier could not be maintained until the end of the battle; it had a time limit, and the more energy injected, the longer it would last.
I must leave the ship quickly. His body has grown larger, and the limited space inside the ship is very disadvantageous for his movements! Seeing Zhou Zilong charging over, Kazer quickly analyzed the current situation.
Just as a fist larger than a sandbag was about to strike, Kazer luckily dodged it. Zhou Zilong's punch easily smashed a deep crater into the ground, shaking the entire ship. That power seemed capable of tearing through the void, causing everything around it to pale in comparison.
"Damn stinking monkey, I'll remember this! I'm leaving for now, but when my strength is sufficient in the future, I will definitely make you my nourishment!" After ascending into the air, Kazer said this, refusing to admit defeat.
However, just as Kazer thought he could escape, an invisible force suddenly enveloped him, binding him tightly in mid-air and leaving him unable to move, no matter how hard he struggled.
"I already calculated that you would run away, so I cast Spatial Imprisonment on you. Now you are just like a fish on a chopping block. This battle should end here!" Zhou Zilong's deep and majestic voice rang in Kazer's ear as he slowly approached, spreading those giant palms that seemed capable of blotting out the sky.
Kazer's face turned as pale as paper. He knew that he was now a fish on the chopping block, waiting to be slaughtered, but the instinct for survival made him unwilling to give up easily. "I didn't expect a Saiyan like you to possess such special abilities. How about this: I'll tell you a secret if you spare my life!" He tried to trade information for freedom, his eyes flashing with cunning.
"You are in no position to negotiate with me!" Zhou Zilong's voice was cold as frost. He knew well that in the world of Dragon Ball, one could not be soft-hearted toward enemies. He continued to close in, his giant hands appearing ready to crush any obstacle into dust.
