The time returned to a little over ten minutes earlier—

As a renowned Archmage, she naturally received Izeluma's highest level of hospitality. Even before this debut evening party, she had already been Izeluma's guest and had lived here for some time.

Having stayed so long, the room fully reflected her tastes.

An old globe, stationery piled haphazardly together, gossip magazines from street stalls alongside philosophy books, a hodgepodge of grimoires, and a large heap of wind-up tin toys that were nearly indistinguishable from junk.

These were all things she enjoyed. She had liked them since she was very young, and she still did.

Precision machinery, ancient objects steeped in mystery, unconventional artworks... all of them fascinated her.

Of course, enjoying such things came with a condition: they required a great deal of money, and money was precisely what she lacked.

—Though that problem had been solved long ago.

Now, on the desk beside her sat a reel-type projector that had clearly seen many years.

"Izeluma really does preserve things well. Usually, things that are around a hundred years old are difficult to call valuable antiques, so many of them deteriorate terribly."

Touko studied the projector with fascination and murmured to herself.

"What did you used to screen? And what do you want to screen in the future? That child I made before always had some flaws, so I had no choice but to leave it at Reien Girls' Academy."

To outsiders, she seemed to be talking to herself. In truth, she was speaking to the projector. Though she received no response, it was still merely a monologue.

Touko smiled as she stroked the reel with her fingertips, as though she wanted to directly read the history engraved upon the projector.

"So, how much longer
