Vegeta Was Beaten Again

"Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap!"

At that moment, five people of varying heights and builds, all wearing Battle Suits, landed from the sky.

"The Ginyu Force!"

The five shouted in unison, then struck their iconic pose.

Vegeta was speechless.

But he had no choice but to take them seriously.

"Oh? Vegeta? Where'd the people you were fighting go?"

The shortest one, Guldo, glanced over the battlefield and asked.

"Just some grunts. I killed them."

Vegeta spoke coldly.

Now wasn't the time to turn against them.

"So, where are the Dragon Balls the Great King needs?" Recoome asked.

"I've only collected five. They're all over there."

"Mm, good. Keep searching other places."

Vegeta was secretly delighted. Just as he was about to make his escape—

"Wait, Vegeta."

The purple-skinned Ginyu stopped him.

"Dodoria and Zarbon should've flown this way just now. What? You didn't run into them?"

The observant Ginyu was suspicious.

Vegeta immediately broke out in a cold sweat.

"Dodoria and Lord Zarbon did pass by me, but not long after, a few powerful enemies showed up. I had to give it everything I had to deal with them."

"Oh? Is that so? Then why are there pieces of our Battle Suits scattered around?"

The observant Ginyu had noticed that the fragments of Battle Suit left on the battlefield were clearly not the same as the one Vegeta was wearing.

"This..."

Vegeta also noticed the pieces of Dodoria's Battle Suit. They were obviously different from his own.

"Oh, that's because..."

Vegeta stepped closer, preparing to explain.

But just as he reached Guldo, who was standing nearest to him—

Whoosh!

He suddenly powered up and slashed with his left hand, slicing off Guldo's head!

Just like in the original story, Guldo was still the first to die.

Vegeta had clearly planned this out well. Guldo was the easiest to deal with, and his time-stopping ability was also a real nuisance.

Burter, standing nearby, was dumbfounded.

"Why did Vegeta suddenly kill Guldo?"

Jeice was stunned.

"He killed both Dodoria and Zarbon. When he realized he couldn't fool us, he killed the one with psychic powers first!"

"Damn you, Vegeta! I'll take care of him!" Recoome said furiously.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

Four incredibly fast figures shot into the sky!

"Damn it! That wretched Ginyu Force!"

Vegeta fled at full speed, racking his brain for a way to escape.

Whoosh!

A white figure appeared in front of Vegeta.

"Heh heh, Vegeta, don't run off so fast. Hand over the remaining Dragon Balls!"

Sure enough, the Ginyu Force caught up with him right away. Recoome taunted him.

"Hmph. I'd rather die here, die out here, than tell you anything about the Dragon Balls!"

Vegeta said resolutely.

"Oh? Looks like things might get fun today."

Recoome sneered.

Vegeta braced himself and assumed a fighting stance.

The energy of both sides surged sharply, and the power radiating from them easily shook the air.

"Oh? Recoome's pretty fired up today, huh?" Jeice said as he caught up.

"Hmph, he beat us to it," Burter snorted.

"Looks like the Force will have to change the way we make our entrance next time." Ginyu, though, was thinking about something else.

"Haah—"

Vegeta unleashed his full power. He didn't dare hold back anymore. His combat power of 35,000 exploded in an instant!

"Take this!"

Vegeta struck first, hurtling toward Recoome like a cannonball.

Bang!

Once again, they met force with force!

Their fists collided, and the ground caved in under the tremendous energy.

"Ha! Da! Da! Da! Da!"

Vegeta immediately unleashed a fierce flurry of attacks!

"Oh? Not bad, Vegeta. You've definitely improved quite a bit since last time," Recoome teased, still full of energy.

"Bastard!"

Vegeta's forehead bulged with veins as he attacked with all his might.

His fists shot out like machine-gun fire, but Recoome blocked them with ease.

"Die!"

As Recoome adjusted to the rhythm, Vegeta suddenly changed his attack, driving a knee into Recoome's stomach!

"Gah! Ah!"

Recoome had only been toying with Vegeta at first, but he let his guard down for a moment and spat up bile.

Strike while he's down! Finish him!

Seeing his advantage, Vegeta pressed the attack, punching Recoome in the stomach again and again.

The heavy blows hammered into Recoome's abdomen like a sledgehammer.

Recoome couldn't react at all.

Then Vegeta braced himself on the ground with both hands and planted both feet against Recoome's chest, kicking him into the air.

The terrifying force instantly shattered Recoome's armor!

A bulky figure went flying through the air.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!"

Vegeta seized the opportunity to gather energy blasts and unleash Prince Trick. The energy orbs poured out like a flood!

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!..."

Recoome was struck by a dense hail of energy blasts, each one bursting with an explosive boom.

In an instant, thick smoke billowed and dust filled the air!

"Hey, hey, no way! Did Vegeta actually take Recoome out?" Jeice was stunned by the terrifying combat power Vegeta had unleashed.

"Impossible!" Burter said incredulously.

"Hmph, Recoome let his guard down," Ginyu said coldly.

"But Recoome won't go down that easily!"

"Ha! Hah! Ha! Hah!"

Vegeta gasped for breath.

As the smoke cleared, Recoome's battered figure came into view.

His armor was completely shattered, and several of his teeth had been knocked out.

"What?"

Vegeta was shocked. He'd just put everything he had into that attack. How had Recoome's energy barely dropped at all?

"My turn!"

As soon as he spoke, Recoome unleashed a beam of energy.

The purple beam shot straight toward Vegeta!

With his focus fully on the fight, Vegeta still dodged it with ease.

Boom!

The beam struck the ground, leaving a massive crater.

But that attack had only been a feint. The real danger came next.

The instant Recoome fired his energy blast, he vanished in a flash and appeared in front of Vegeta.

Just as Vegeta dodged Recoome's energy blast, he found himself right in front of Recoome!

Now their roles had reversed!

Recoome began pummeling Vegeta just as Vegeta had attacked him moments ago.

But Recoome's blows were heavier and faster!

Vegeta hadn't even caught his breath after using Prince Trick when he was hit by several more heavy blows.

In an instant, Vegeta was on the defensive.

At first, he could still barely block, but soon his strength was all but spent. Recoome broke through his guard with ease and beat him mercilessly.

"Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!"

Vegeta was battered like a punching bag, unable even to cry out.

Finally, Recoome kicked him flying.

"Whoosh!"

While Vegeta was still in midair, Recoome opened his mouth wide and fired an energy blast from it. It slammed into Vegeta with a boom.

Vegeta fell limply like a kite with its string cut.
