Li Feng finally explained why they'd come to Planet Yardrat.

The chief asked, puzzled.
"Your Instant Transmission."
"Ah? Well..."
The chief furrowed his brow and hesitated.
"Hey, what's the matter with you? You won't even teach us such an ordinary technique?"
Seeing the chief hesitate, Vegeta grew displeased.
Before they'd set out, Li Feng had told Vegeta and Goku that they had to learn Instant Transmission on Planet Yardrat, or he wouldn't take them away.
"Chief, we can't. That's a secret of our people. We can't pass it on to outsiders..."
"Yeah. If they turn out like that last group, we'll be in trouble."
Someone behind him spoke up in warning.
"Silence!"

The chief was stunned.

Li Feng rose to his feet and let out a shout.
"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"
A golden whirlwind erupted from Li Feng once more, his energy sweeping across the entire area!
Li Feng opened his eyes. His pupils turned emerald green, and his hair stood on end and turned gold. An aura like that of an ancient ferocious beast burst forth in an instant.
A huge crater formed beneath his feet. The earth trembled, the wind howled, and energy poured from Li Feng without end.
The shock wave from Li Feng's transformation sent the Yardratians flying. They were so shaken by his terrifying power that they couldn't speak.
"So this is a Super Saiyan? One day, I'll become someone like that!"
Watching the golden figure, Goku became even more determined to grow stronger.
"Hmph. I'll reach that level before Kakarot does."
Vegeta secretly envied him, too.
"Such incredible power! This aura... It seems Lord Li Feng was telling the truth."

The Yardratian reached out his hand.
Li Feng shook the chief's hand, and the deal was sealed.
The days that followed were spent in long stretches of training and study.
In the morning, Goku, Vegeta, and Li Feng learned Instant Transmission from the chief. In the afternoon, the three of them fought each other. At night, they ate and drank their fill, living full and satisfying lives.
Although Li Feng had already learned the basic form of Instant Transmission with the system's help, he still listened carefully to the Yardratians' lessons.
They had their own unique approach to using ki. After studying their knowledge, Li Feng gained a deeper understanding of how Instant Transmission worked, laying the groundwork for him to learn its advanced form.
After they dealt with several alien invasions, the colonists from other worlds realized that powerful fighters were protecting the planet. And once they learned that Frieza was definitely dead, they stopped attacking Planet Yardrat. Peace returned to the planet.

(In the original story, Son Goku learned it from the Metamorans after meeting them in the afterlife. In Dragon Ball Super, the Yardratians could use forced spirit fission, so of course they could also fuse their ki.)
Li Feng had also improved his basic Instant Transmission. After a year of study, he learned to use Instant Transmission with absolute coordinates—the same technique used by Kibito Kai. He had gained a great deal.
