Paragus immediately scrambled up from the ground, bowed respectfully, and said with satisfaction, "I thank you on Broly's behalf, King Saigo!"
This time, Saigo didn't dodge. He accepted the bow, then said calmly, "All right! Don't let anyone else know about this yet. Put Broly alone in a nursery and raise him there!"
Afraid Paragus might misunderstand, he repeated, "Remember, Broly is to be placed alone in a nursery! Assign someone to watch over him, and tell them it's an order from me!"
"Yes! I'll see to it right away!"
The rest was up to time.
Saigo refused to believe he couldn't simulate something that would increase his mental strength within two years!
Now, all that remained was to wait for Frieza to show up.

Two hours felt like an entire day.
Suddenly, Saigo opened his eyes from where he'd been sitting quietly and looked up at the sky.
"He finally came!"
"I've been waiting forever!"
He floated up into the air and flew toward the spaceship about to break through the atmosphere.
This time, Frieza was taking things seriously. There were no fewer than five large spaceships, along with countless spherical personal pods.
Frieza couldn't suppress his ki. The moment the ships reached the skies above Planet Vegeta, Saigo pinpointed his location: he was aboard the middle of the five large ships, which was flying a little slower than the others.
At the same time, dozens of bright spheres suddenly rose into the sky. Saigo glanced at them, then looked away. Great Ape Transformation alone wouldn't be enough to deal with Frieza.
But the Saiyan Legion, transformed into Great Apes, was far stronger overall than the Frieza Force.

The deafening roars of thousands of Saiyans after their Great Ape Transformation nearly made Saigo cover his ears.
Looking down, he saw that many of his people had already transformed. They all roared at the sky, then one after another took flight!
Flying monkeys for real!
Seeing the scene, Saigo inexplicably remembered a monkey character getting knocked into the air in a game from his previous life. He almost burst out laughing.
He also noticed something very interesting: after transforming into Great Apes, the low-class warriors hadn't lost their reason!
What was going on?
Wasn't it said that low-class warriors lost their minds when they turned into Great Apes?
Why weren't any of them going berserk and attacking one another?
Saigo had been worried they might not be able to tell friend from foe. He hadn't expected that to not happen at all!
For a moment, he couldn't figure out why.
Then, looking at the Great Ape leading the charge into the sky, Saigo realized that the Battle Suit looked familiar!
"It's Vegeta III!"
Saigo finally understood. "It must be him! Yes, it has to be Vegeta III! I never knew Saiyans with royal blood had this kind of ability! As long as he transforms into a Great Ape too, the low-class Saiyans won't lose their reason or go berserk while he's there!"
That explained it. It also explained why so many Saiyans had survived the war against the Tuffles!
Saigo envied the special ability that came with royal blood, but he was relieved as well. Now he wouldn't have to divide his attention!
He looked up at the sky and saw that Frieza's army had broken through the atmosphere. The countless lackeys plunged down like shooting stars.
In an instant, hundreds and thousands of energy attacks streaked across Planet Vegeta's sky. The energy beams raining down from above were pitifully thin, while the blasts shooting upward from below were enormous.
Rumble!
The sky filled with the sounds of roaring explosions.
The war had begun!
The Frieza Force quickly fell behind.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Saigo raced toward the large spaceship that wasn't planning to land. That was Frieza's ship.
Meanwhile, aboard the spaceship, Frieza was listening to a subordinate's report, his expression darkening by the second!
"What did you say? Our forces are being pushed back? Are you sure? Say that again!"
"Y-Your Majesty, our forces really are at a disadvantage. What should we do? Uh?"
The unfortunate messenger felt a sharp pain in his chest, then lost consciousness.
Frieza lowered his finger and snorted, his face twisted with displeasure. "Hmph! Even speaking is too much trouble for him. There's no point keeping such trash alive!"
"Mr. Zarbon, can even our Special Forces not handle these detestable monkeys?"
In fact, Frieza had already learned through his Scouter that the Special Forces he'd worked so hard to build couldn't even handle the Saiyans after they turned into wild monkeys. He simply refused to believe it.
"Your Majesty, several members of your Special Forces have already fallen! What should we do now?" Zarbon replied, his heart pounding as he tried to hide his nervousness.
It was hard not to be afraid after watching another person die right in front of him.
"What a bunch of useless trash! I have to deal with these wild monkeys myself! Hmph!" Frieza said coldly, his face dark. "Then you're all better off dead!"

With a tremendous boom, a huge hole was blasted through the top of the ship.
Frieza, furious, had decided he didn't care what happened to anyone else. He burst straight through the ship's ceiling.
Everyone aboard scrambled to escape. Even Zarbon and Dodoria were no exception.
Frieza looked down at the battlefields below. Sure enough, countless soldiers in his army had already been killed or wounded. His expression turned darker still.
But the next moment, he began to laugh.
"Heh heh heh! Those damned wild monkeys should have just waited to die! Instead, they made me come out here myself and killed so many of my soldiers! How irritating!"
"Well, then. Let's enjoy the fireworks one more time!"
"Heh heh heh!"
Frieza laughed like a madman and raised a finger. A tiny dark-red energy sphere formed above it, growing larger and larger until it was about the size of a water tank.
Just then, a roar came from the left.
"Frieza!"
The Scouter Frieza wore began beeping incessantly.
Frieza turned toward the voice and looked closely. A young Saiyan who hadn't transformed had somehow appeared right there without him noticing.
It was Saigo!
When Frieza saw the constantly changing battle power readings on his Scouter, he panicked. Even the energy sphere he'd just formed stopped growing.
"Battle power: one million? Two million... three million... three million eight hundred thousand?!" Frieza was utterly shocked, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.
But what frightened him most was what happened next: the Scouter he wore, which could measure up to five million in battle power, exploded!
At the same time, the Saiyan before him transformed in an instant, his hair turning yellow!
"Y-yellow hair?"
Frieza could no longer remain calm. He wanted to transform and see just how strong this Super Saiyan really was.
But before he could get another look or transform, Saigo let out another roar before Frieza's horrified eyes and unleashed a devastating energy blast, white at its core and purple on the outside!
"Die, Frieza!"
"Super—Energy Wave!"
