Just as Son Goku finished speaking, Tarble walked in from outside the door.
After hearing Vegeta's words, coupled with Tarble suddenly asking him to hand over the box earlier, Son Goku finally felt that something abnormal must have happened.
Otherwise, Tarble wouldn't have called them here for no reason.
"Tarble, you called us here. Did you discover something?"
Sensing that the Demon Cultivator He Yi's aura hadn't moved, Tarble nodded: "There is a slight situation."
"That old guy just now, the feeling he gave me wasn't like a good person. I always felt he was hiding something."
"However, I don't know if my feeling is accurate."
"Later, when you try to force open that box, don't use your full strength. Just go through the motions."
"If I'm not mistaken, Gohan has already tried. If even he couldn't open it with his strength, it means the box cannot be opened by brute force."
"If we want to know what that old guy is really planning, once the Dragon God helps open the box, everything will be revealed."
As soon as he finished speaking.
Son Goku looked suspicious: "No way?"
"I felt that old grandpa was very normal!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Vegeta gave him a contemptuous look and seized the opportunity to scold: "Do you think everyone is as stupid as you?"
Son Goku ignored his scolding, tilted his head, and thought carefully, still not feeling anything unusual.
"But I feel like there's no problem?"
Vegeta couldn't be bothered to scold anymore and also expressed his feelings: "That old guy just now gave me a feeling of discomfort for a moment."
"I thought it was an illusion, but I didn't expect you to dislike him too, Tarble!"
"Hmph!"
"It seems that old guy really has a problem!"
"To dare to put on airs in my house is simply courting death!"
What a great way to use words, Vegeta.
Tarble watched him leisurely.
At this moment, Vegeta asked again: "Tarble, how much of what the old guy said do you think we can believe?"
"That Cosmic Cataclysm, do you believe it?"
"Also, is that damned Hero really sealed in that box?"
Hearing this, Tarble gently shook his head, not explicitly stating: "Who knows?"
"However, that Hero named 'Tapion' is probably really sealed in the box."
"As for the Cosmic Cataclysm, it might be what that old guy is planning, or it might not be."
"Your Highness, shall I go and eliminate that old man right now?" Rix suggested.
The Cosmic Cataclysm sounded like a disaster of extreme danger.
It seemed likely to affect them.
Since that was the case, it was better to strike first.
This was his thought.
Without even waiting for Tarble and Vegeta to reject the proposal, Son Goku hurriedly waved his hands to dissuade them: "No, no, no!"
"I think it's not too late to decide after we see what the situation is?"
"What do you think, Vegeta, Tarble?"
In Son Goku's opinion, that was a living life.
To kill someone like that without confirming if they were an enemy was too cruel.
For him, who was kind-hearted and simple, this was unacceptable.
"Hmph!"
Seeing Son Goku like this, Vegeta felt disgusted.
Seeing this situation, Tarble knew that Vegeta might not cooperate, so he had to state his attitude in advance.
"It's okay, anyway, we just finished training and came back. We're bored, so let's play!"
"Let's see what that old guy is up to."
"I hope things will be a little more interesting."
"Later, everyone just use a portion of their normal strength to try and open the box. If we scare away that old guy, there won't be any fun."
"Let's go, I'm going to take a bath first."
"I'm covered in sweat, it's quite uncomfortable."
Having said that, he turned and opened the Space Gate to leave, regardless of how Vegeta and Son Goku might react.
If Vegeta still refused to cooperate after he had put it that way, then there was nothing more to be done.
However, he had a shred of confidence that Vegeta would play along.
After all, back in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, the man had used him more than once to mock Son Goku.
He would often say things to Son Goku like, "Tarble is the strongest Saiyan," wearing such a proud expression that it seemed he was genuinely happy and boastful that he had surpassed Son Goku.
Since that was the case, he should, to some extent, be willing to play his part in the act.
As for how far he would go with it, that was anyone's guess.
As he walked down the corridor, he could still hear Rix speaking to Son Goku.
"Son Goku, why don't you go to my room and have a quick wash?"
"Oh, alright, thanks a lot, Rix."
Fifteen minutes later.
Tarble and the others had finished washing up, all four of them now dressed in battle suits manufactured by Bulma.
By the time they reached the living room, Bulma had just arrived to call them for dinner, the meal already prepared.
The four Saiyans were already famished, their stomachs pressed against their spines, and they scrambled toward the dining area.
They didn't say a word, nor did they wait for Bulma to bring the Demon Cultivator He Yi to the table, simply diving in and gorging themselves.
When Bulma arrived with He Yi in tow, she saw the scene.
Good grief!
They were wolfing down their food, swallowing it whole, with absolutely no table manners to speak of.
Seeing this, she couldn't help but complain, "Honestly!"
"Could you lot not wait for our guest?"
However, the four Saiyans were far too focused on their meal to pay her any mind.
She was already accustomed to this, however.
With a helpless, apologetic smile, she ushered He Yi to his seat.
"Old gentleman, please, take a seat. Don't mind them."
Having never seen humans who could eat so much, the Demon Cultivator He Yi widened his eyes and chuckled, "Ms. Bulma, your husband and the other three gentlemen certainly have healthy appetites!"
There was not a hint of falsehood in his words.
In all his long years, this was the first time he had seen humans with such massive appetites.
Hearing this, Bulma gave an awkward smile. "It can't be helped; that's just how Saiyans are."
"Anyway, old gentleman, please, eat up."
"Otherwise, I'm afraid they'll finish all the food before you get a chance, oh ho ho~"
"Very well, very well, thank you for the hospitality. Seeing them eat with such gusto has certainly whetted my own appetite. Then, I shall begin!"
After He Yi responded with a chuckle, he picked up his cutlery, his movements gentle and measured.
When picking up food, his right hand would precisely grasp the delicacy, while his left hand held his bowl in place to catch any stray drops, ensuring not a single speck of oil fell onto the table.
He would then bring the bowl to his lips, slowly moving the food into his mouth, chewing and savoring it with refined, elegant manners.
Watching this, Bulma felt that observing the old man eat was a unique pleasure.
Then she looked at the crude, barbaric way Vegeta and the others were eating, and she simply couldn't bear to watch.
What mattered most was that after tasting each dish, the Demon Cultivator He Yi would offer a sincere critique, while also taking the opportunity to shower Bulma with compliments.
And because of this, the smile on Bulma's face barely faded for a moment.
