Sun Wukong shouted angrily and chased after Bubbles.

A blue streak shot out of the grass and came to a stop in front of North Kai.
When the blue light faded, a yellow grasshopper appeared before Sun Wukong.
The grasshopper was named Gregory, and he was another of North Kai's pets.
"King Kai, what do you need?"
"Let me introduce you. This is Sun Wukong!"
"Sun Wukong?"
"That's right! I'd like you to help him train!"
"Just tell me what you want me to do, and I'll help him train!"
"Good!"
As North Kai spoke, he conjured a large hammer and handed it to Sun Wukong.
"King Kai, what are you...?"
When Gregory saw the hammer in Sun Wukong's hands, he looked a little frightened.
"Goku, your next training exercise is to use that hammer to hit Gregory on the head!"
North Kai ignored Gregory and spoke to Sun Wukong instead.

Gregory taunted Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong saw this and began swinging at Gregory over and over like he was playing whack-a-mole.
Before long, the ground on North Kai's Planet was riddled with craters.

"What was that?!"
Suddenly, the sound of glass shattering came from behind North Kai.
He turned around and saw that his beloved car had been smashed.
"It's a good thing young people have so much energy!"
North Kai tried to console himself.
"Waaah..."
But in the end, he couldn't help feeling sad.
A little over a month later, Sun Wukong finally hit Gregory on the head with the hammer.
"King Kai, I hit Gregory on the head!"
North Kai glanced at Gregory, who had a huge bump on his head, and nodded.
"Now I'll teach you martial arts myself!"

A short man with red hair and an eyepatch over his right eye stood in an open area at headquarters.
This man was Commander Red, the leader of the Red Ribbon Army.
Beside him stood a tall, powerfully built Black man.
The man was named Staff Officer Black, the second-in-command under Commander Red.
The seven Dragon Balls were laid out in front of them.
"Come forth, Shenron! Grant me my wish!"
Commander Red raised both hands, his face alight with excitement.
"Whoosh..."
As soon as Commander Red finished speaking, the sky across the whole Earth darkened.
The seven Dragon Balls transformed into a golden bolt of lightning and shot upward.
When it reached the sky, the golden lightning transformed into Shenron.
"State your wish. Any wish is possible, but I can grant only one!"
"Commander Red!"
Staff Officer Black looked at Commander Red.
Commander Red laughed with overwhelming excitement.
"Hahaha! At long last, my wish is finally going to come true!"
Shenron watched him in silence.
"Shenron, I wish to be as tall and powerful as Staff Officer Black!"
"What?!"
Staff Officer Black was shocked.
He had assumed Commander Red would wish for the Red Ribbon Army to rule the world.
That was the very reason he had followed him in the first place.
"Very well!"
Shenron's eyes flashed red.
Commander Red's body immediately grew until he was as tall as Staff Officer Black.
"Your wish has been granted. Farewell!"
Shenron finished speaking and transformed back into the seven stone Dragon Balls, which scattered across the Earth.
"Why? Why did you use the Dragon Balls to make such a wish? Shouldn't you have wished for the Red Ribbon Army to rule the world?"
Staff Officer Black shouted furiously at Commander Red.
Commander Red snorted.
"I'm the commander. I can wish for whatever I want. As for ruling the world, with the Red Ribbon Army's current strength, it's only a matter of time!"
