As she spoke, Bulma went inside and brought out the Dragon Ball Radar to show Sun Wukong.
"One, two... five, six. That's strange. There are only six dots on this Dragon Ball Radar. Shouldn't there be seven?"
"Yeah, I think the last Dragon Ball was swallowed by some animal, blocking the radar's signal! What, are you trying to find the Dragon Balls?"

"Bulma, do you believe I could wipe them out with just one finger?"
Bulma snorted.
"You may be the champion of the World Martial Arts Tournament, but I don't believe you're that strong!"
"Then what if I wipe them out with one finger? What would you do?"
"You... If you really wipe them out with one finger, I... I'll let you be my boyfriend!"
Sun Wukong stared at Bulma. Why did that sound so familiar?
When she saw him staring, Bulma immediately blushed.
The first time she and Sun Wukong had met, she'd thought he was a nuisance. And now... she was the one throwing herself at him!
"Bulma, why do I feel like you're taking advantage of me?"
"W-who's taking advantage of you? I'm only a few years older than you. A beautiful, youthful girl like me is incredibly popular!"
"Forget it. Let's pretend I never asked."

Bulma huffed, though she didn't really believe him.

After taking Pilaf and his companions in as his subordinates, King Piccolo asked them about the current state of the world. From Pilaf, he learned about the Dragon Balls.
"Can these Dragon Balls really make me young again?"
"Yes, King Piccolo!"
"Where are they now?"
"King Piccolo, the Dragon Balls are all in the hands of the Red Ribbon Army!"
"The Red Ribbon Army? The army you said wanted to rule the world?"
"Yes, King Piccolo!"
King Piccolo opened his mouth and spat out a huge white egg.
Pilaf and the others were startled.
"Crack..."
The giant egg's shell split, and a man with green skin and a pair of wings on his back emerged.
"Tambourine, that's the name I've chosen for you!"
"Thank you, King Piccolo!"
Tambourine thanked King Piccolo.
King Piccolo nodded.
"Tambourine, I have something I need you to do."
"What is it?"
"I want you to go to the Red Ribbon Army and retrieve six objects called Dragon Balls!"
"Dragon Balls?"
"That's right!"
King Piccolo looked at Pilaf.
"Tell him what the Dragon Balls look like and where the Red Ribbon Army is based."
"Y-yes, King Piccolo!"
Pilaf stammered.
He gave Tambourine a picture of a Dragon Ball, along with a map to the Red Ribbon Army headquarters.
"Lord Tambourine, this is what the Dragon Balls look like. There are seven in all. Apart from the different numbers of stars inside, they all look much the same. And this is a map to the Red Ribbon Army headquarters!"
"Oh!"
Tambourine took the map and studied it carefully.
"Then, King Piccolo, shall I go retrieve the Dragon Balls now?"
"Yes!"
"Wait, King Piccolo. Are you really planning to send Lord Tambourine to the Red Ribbon Army headquarters alone?"
Pilaf stepped forward.
"Is there a problem?"
King Piccolo's voice was cold.
"No... The Red Ribbon Army is the strongest force on Earth. I'm worried Lord Tambourine might not be able to handle it alone!"
Pilaf spoke quietly.
At those words, Tambourine gave him a stern look.
Pilaf was clearly looking down on me.
King Piccolo was also a little angered. But Pilaf and the others were still somewhat useful, so he didn't kill them. He only snorted and said, "A single warrior of the Demon Clan is worth tens of millions of you humans."

"Then order the men to take him out!"

After receiving the order, the soldier hurried back to the command room and had the troops attack Tambourine.
By then, Tambourine had already flown above the headquarters.
When the command room officer saw him, he immediately ordered the soldiers to fire missiles at the winged figure in the sky.

A large number of soldiers aimed their rocket launchers at Tambourine and fired wildly.
Tambourine sneered and swiftly dodged the missiles, kicking some of them back.

The missiles hit the ground, killing many soldiers in the explosions.
The soldiers nearby fled in terror.
Tambourine smiled and soon descended to the ground.
Then he suddenly grabbed a soldier and asked, "Where are the Dragon Balls?"
"I-I don't know!"
Tambourine chuckled. His right hand pierced the man's body like a blade. Blood sprayed from the soldier and splattered across the ground.
The soldiers around them recoiled in fear.
After a brief moment of terror, many soldiers raised their submachine guns and opened fire on Tambourine.
Tambourine darted around, knocking down the soldiers who shot at him.
At that moment, a large number of armored vehicles drove out from inside.
Tambourine sneered and fired a golden energy wave from his mouth at the vehicles.
Boom!!
The energy wave blasted the armored vehicles to pieces.
"M-monster!"
The surrounding soldiers retreated in terror once more.

After learning that Tambourine was exceptionally powerful, Staff Officer Black hurried to the command room.
"How's the situation?"
"That monster is too strong. Even the armored vehicles are no match for him!"
