Tambourine Is Destroyed

"What!"

Black was startled.

"What about Silver and the others?"

"Colonel Silver and the others have already gone out to meet the enemy!"

As they spoke, Silver and the others appeared on the large screen in the command room.

"It's Colonel Silver!"

Seeing Silver and the others, the soldiers' morale surged.

Tambourine sneered and rapidly charged toward them.

Xirus immediately raised his submachine gun and opened fire on Tambourine.

But Tambourine moved too fast for his bullets to hit.

"Damn it!"

Silver shouted angrily, tossed aside his submachine gun, and prepared to fight Tambourine hand to hand.

Just as Tambourine was about to reach Silver, a blond, blue-eyed man suddenly glared at him.

Tambourine froze in place.

The man was named General Blue. He had the psychic power to paralyze people with his eyes.

Taking advantage of the moment, Silver picked up the submachine gun he had thrown aside and opened fire on Tambourine.

But Tambourine's body was that of a demon. The bullets struck him as if they were hitting an indestructible steel plate.

Silver was startled.

"Psychic powers?"

Tambourine glanced at General Blue, then suddenly opened his mouth and fired an energy wave at him.

General Blue's face changed, and he hurriedly dodged.

That dodge broke the paralysis holding Tambourine. In the blink of an eye, he appeared behind General Blue.

"Watch out, General Blue!"

Colonel Violet warned him.

General Blue turned around and saw a green hand pass through his body.

Then his clothes were drenched in blood.

General Blue stared at Tambourine in disbelief.

He had never imagined he would die at the hands of a monster today.

Silver and the others immediately began to retreat.

But if they ran away like this, Black would surely punish them. On the other hand, if they stayed, they might lose their lives.

After weighing their options, Silver and the others suddenly turned and fled.

The Red Ribbon Army soldiers were dumbfounded when they saw this, then fled outside as well.

"Send out the order. Shiba and the others deserted in the face of the enemy. Execute them all as traitors!"

"Yes, Commander Black!"

"Commander Black, what should we do next?"

As he spoke, Black left the command room and went to a relatively spacious area.

Then he took out an open Hoi-Poi Capsule and tossed it onto the ground.

Amid a cloud of white smoke, a blue mech appeared on the ground.

Black climbed into the mech and piloted it downward.

With Silver and the others having fled, the Red Ribbon Army soldiers had no desire to keep fighting. They all ran outside.

Watching the Red Ribbon Army soldiers flee like ants, Tambourine suddenly found it a little amusing.

Just then, Black piloted the mech up to Tambourine.

"Where are the Dragon Balls?"

"So you came for the Dragon Balls!"

"Oh? From the way you put it, you know where they are?"

Tambourine laughed.

After fighting for so long, he had finally run into someone who knew where the Dragon Balls were.

Black snorted.

"Even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you. Besides, you'll never leave here alive!"

"Is that so?"

As he spoke, Tambourine suddenly fired an energy wave from his mouth.

Black's face changed, and he hurriedly piloted the mech upward to dodge.

Black avoided the attack, but a stone tower behind him was blasted to the ground by Tambourine's energy wave.

A bead of cold sweat appeared on Black's forehead.

If that blast had hit his mech, even if it could withstand the impact, it would probably have been wrecked.

Seeing Black dodge, Tambourine let out a long breath.

Although Tambourine was powerful, he still had limited stamina. Attacks like that energy wave he had just fired took a great deal of strength.

Noticing something was off about Tambourine, Black immediately piloted the mech and fired several missiles at him.

Tambourine flapped his wings and dodged.

Black shouted, gripped the control sticks with both hands, and charged forward.

Tambourine jumped into the air.

Black's mech slammed heavily into the ground.

At that moment, Tambourine spun around and kicked hard at the glass in front of the mech.

The glass at the front of the mech shattered.

Black's expression changed. He hurriedly piloted the mech backward.

Then Tambourine suddenly stretched out his incredibly long tongue and wrapped it around Black.

"W-What is this?"

Black's face turned pale.

Tambourine chuckled and slowly reeled in his purple tongue.

Just then, a figure flew over from far away in the sky.

It was Sun Wukong.

Seeing Sun Wukong's astonishing speed, Tambourine couldn't help looking surprised.

Whoosh...

Thud...

In no time, Sun Wukong landed in front of them.

"So it's just a little brat!"

Seeing how young Sun Wukong was, Tambourine quickly let down his guard.

No matter how strong a human child was, he couldn't possibly be stronger than Tambourine.

"Ah!"

Black, tightly wrapped in Tambourine's tongue, let out a scream.

"P-Please save me!"

Black pleaded with Sun Wukong.

"Did you come here to save him?"

Tambourine laughed.

"I don't even know him. Why would I save him?"

"You don't know him? Then why are you here? To die?"

Tambourine continued to laugh.

"I came here to defeat the Red Ribbon Army and take the Dragon Balls they'd gotten. But I've changed my mind!"

"Changed your mind?"

"That's right. I'm not just going to defeat the Red Ribbon Army and get the Dragon Balls. I'm going to kill you, too!"

"Kill me!"

Tambourine laughed as though he had just heard the funniest joke in the world.

Sun Wukong sneered and gathered a golden energy wave in his right hand.

Boom!

Amid a burst of golden flames, Tambourine's body instantly turned to ash.

Watching from beside him, Black was so frightened he couldn't speak.

Sun Wukong didn't particularly want to kill people, but Black was the commander of the Red Ribbon Army. If Sun Wukong didn't kill him, the Earth would probably never know peace.

A flash of golden light later, Black's body slowly fell to the ground.

Sun Wukong hadn't used the energy wave from earlier. Instead, he had killed Black with a finger flick, leaving his body intact.

The people in the command room fell silent when they saw this.

Then they all hurriedly ran outside.
