Senior Brother

In another room, Shu and Mai were taking a nap when they heard King Pilaf's voice. They immediately sat up in bed.

"King Pilaf!"

The two hurried to the castle hall.

There, they saw Sun Wukong and the others.

"S-Sun Wukong!"

They stared in terror.

"Long time no see, Shu, Mai!"

Sun Wukong said with a smile.

Shu glanced at Pilaf.

"King Pilaf!"

"It's nothing. They just want us to help build a Gravity Room!"

"Phew..."

Shu and Mai breathed a sigh of relief.

"So they're only asking us to build a Gravity Room!"

"Then you three, come over here. I'll take you to Bulma's house!"

"Bulma's house?"

The three were confused, but obediently walked over.

Sun Wukong raised two fingers to his forehead and used Instant Transmission to take them to the backyard of Bulma's house.

"Goku!"

Dr. Brief, who was drinking coffee in the backyard, greeted Sun Wukong.

"Who are they?"

"I found them to help Bulma build a Gravity Room!"

"Then, Bulma, can you take care of them?"

"Sure!"

And so, Pilaf and his group stayed at Bulma's house.

Half a month passed in the blink of an eye. With help from Pilaf and the others, Bulma completed a hundred-times-gravity room.

"We've finished building the Gravity Room for you. Can we leave now?"

Bulma nodded.

"You did a pretty good job. I'll ask you to help again next time!"

"Next time!"

Pilaf's face darkened.

He didn't want to see that menace, Sun Wukong, ever again.

"Then we're leaving?"

"Yep!"

Pilaf immediately led Mai and the others away.

They ran off as if they had finally been set free.

"Should I go to Turtle Hermit Island?"

"Sure!"

After speaking, Sun Wukong used Instant Transmission and appeared on Turtle Hermit Island.

Krillin and Master Roshi were there, along with Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu.

"Senior Brother Goku!"

Krillin greeted Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong nodded, then looked at Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu.

"Aren't you two Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu?"

"We meet again, Sun Wukong!"

Before Krillin could say anything, Tien Shinhan greeted Sun Wukong first.

Sun Wukong nodded.

Master Roshi turned to Sun Wukong with a serious expression.

"Goku, from today on, Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu are your fellow disciples!"

"Fellow disciples!"

"That's right! They just became my students!"

"But weren't they Master Shen's disciples?"

"They're not Master Shen's disciples anymore!"

"They aren't?"

"Master Shen was always forcing me to do things I didn't want to do. After losing to you in the tournament half a month ago, he tried to make me do something I didn't want to do again. We had a huge argument, and I left the Crane School!"

Tien Shinhan stepped forward to explain.

"I see! Then from now on, you're my third junior brother, and I'll be your senior brother!"

"Krillin, why are you giving them a hard time?"

"But Senior Brother just..."

Krillin pouted.

"You dare talk back?"

Master Roshi raised his right hand again, ready to give Krillin another two bean-pokes.

"I was wrong, Master Mutaito! I was wrong, Master Mutaito!"

Master Roshi snorted and finally lowered his hand.

"Phew..."

Krillin breathed a sigh of relief.

"By the way, Goku, what brings you here today?"

"Bulma finished the Gravity Room, so I brought it over for Krillin to train in!"

"I see!"

"A Gravity Room?"

Tien Shinhan was curious about the Gravity Room they were talking about.

"Master Mutaito, what's a Gravity Room?"

"It's a room for training. You'll find out soon enough!"

"Oh!"

Sun Wukong took out the Hoi-Poi Capsule containing the Gravity Room and tossed it onto the ground.

In no time, the Gravity Room appeared before them.

Sun Wukong took them inside and showed them how to use it. Then he said goodbye to Master Roshi and the others and returned to Bulma's house.

Time flew by, and half a year passed in the blink of an eye.

The Dragon Balls in Sun Wukong's system had become usable again.

Sun Wukong was thinking about what wish to make.

"System, can I learn the God of Destruction's Instant Transmission now?"

"Yes, Master!"

"Master, you still have one wish left."

"I don't have anything else I want to wish for at the moment. I'll save it for later!"

"Yes, Master!"

Krillin and Tien Shinhan were training in the Gravity Room on Turtle Hermit Island when a boat suddenly approached the island.

A tall man and a small blue cat who could fly stood on the boat.

They were Yamcha and Puar.

After the World Martial Arts Tournament crushed his confidence, Yamcha had spent more than half a year feeling dejected. Only recently had he begun to emerge from Sun Wukong's shadow.

Losing to Sun Wukong again and again had also taught him the value of having a master to guide him.

So, after giving it a lot of thought, Yamcha decided to ask Master Roshi to take him on as a student.
