"Haah, yah!!" Nappa's face twisted into a grimace as he gathered his ki with the King Kai Fist, just as Raditz had taught him. White flames of energy surrounded him!
"King Kai Fist!!!"
With Nappa's thunderous shout, the white flames surged, shooting into the sky and scattering the clouds!
The flames turned red, carrying a hint of heat, while his muscles swelled another size!
The veins on his gleaming bald head bulged!
If he had a Scouter, he would have seen that his battle power had already exceeded 300,000!
There was still a gap between their bloodline levels!
Raditz, a Low-Class Warrior, had hit his bottleneck at 100,000. Nappa, as a Mid-Class Warrior, had a much higher bottleneck than Raditz, reaching 150,000!
To make a major breakthrough, they had to face a life-or-death crisis. The method of fighting until they were half-dead and then eating a Senzu Bean no longer worked well!
Since they knew beforehand they wouldn't die, they'd lost the courage to fight with everything they had. Although the method still increased their battle power, it only gave them a few hundred points!
The near-death-and-revival trick with Senzu Beans clearly wasn't a loophole they could exploit anymore!
Their bodies had memories, too. Repeating the process had made their bodies grow sluggish, and they no longer unleashed their full potential!
"Gohan, it looks like we've both hit our limits!"
"Dad, using Senzu Beans to break through was cheating to begin with. Getting this far is already pretty good!" Gohan didn't mind at all!
"Frieza will reach Namek in three months. Gohan, when should we set out?" Goku could no longer contain his fighting spirit.
"We can go now. We've both reached our limits, and any more training would bring diminishing returns! But I don't get vacation for another ten days..."

"Son Gohan, where are you going during the break? Why don't we go on a picnic?" Videl felt a strange excitement at the thought of vacation starting in just ten days.
"Sorry, I'm going back to my hometown during the break. It's a bit far, so I might not come back until school starts," Son Gohan said, making up a flimsy excuse.
"Ah... So I won't be able to see you for two whole months!" Videl looked reluctant.
To Videl, Son Gohan was a really good friend!
They were still so young, after all. It would take time for those innocent feelings to grow!
At her words, Son Gohan gently patted her head. "If I have time, I'll come visit you at home!"
Videl's little face flushed red as she slapped his hand away. "Cut it out! Dad says kids won't grow any taller if you pat them on the head."
"Okay, got it!" Son Gohan patted her head again.
"Smack! You said you got it, but you're still doing it!!" Videl puffed up her cheeks in anger, looking adorable!
Ten days passed in the blink of an eye.
Videl reluctantly said goodbye to Son Gohan at the school gate!
"When you have time, you have to come see me!!" Videl's eyes were brimming with tears.
"Don't cry, Videl. I'll come play with you as soon as I have time!!" Son Gohan could only soothe her gently.
"Let's go, Videl!!" A curly-haired man came over and took Videl's hand, ready to leave. He also gave Son Gohan a wary look!
It was Satan. By then, he'd become a somewhat well-known martial artist in Nandu!
"Okay, Dad, just let me stay a little longer!!" Videl said unhappily, pulling her hand away.
That only made Satan even more suspicious!! He watched Son Gohan with an even warier expression!
"Hey, you brat... Don't you dare bully Videl!!"
Son Gohan rested one hand against his forehead, looking utterly helpless!
"Come on, Videl. Go home with your dad, or I'm afraid he'll beat me up."
"He'd better not! I'll pull out every last one of his whiskers!!" Videl glared at Satan, the threat plain in her eyes!
"Sweetheart, your dad's a martial artist. Why would I pick on a kid? Right?" Satan was instantly flustered by his daughter's threatening look...
Videl spent another ten minutes reluctant to leave before finally saying goodbye to Son Gohan.
Son Gohan watched quietly as the car drove away, then headed home!
He walked into an alley and looked around in both directions!
"Nobody." Whoosh!
With a whoosh, Son Gohan vanished using Instant Transmission!
But he didn't return to Mount Paozu. Instead, he appeared at Kame House!
"Uncle Krillin, are you there??"
"Huh, Gohan, what are you doing here? Are you alone?" Krillin asked in surprise.
"Yeah. I came to get you. We're ready to set out! I have Instant Transmission, so we'll get there faster!" Son Gohan had come in person to pick Krillin up!
"Okay. Then let's go. Do I need to pack anything?" Krillin asked.
"No, I'm all set," Son Gohan replied calmly.
"Then let's go!! Teacher Master Roshi, I'm leaving!" Krillin stepped forward to say goodbye to Master Roshi!
"Mm. Be careful!"
Son Gohan grabbed Krillin, and they vanished using Instant Transmission!
A rocky wasteland!!
"Krillin? Gohan?" Tien Shinhan stared in surprise at the two who had suddenly appeared!
"Didn't I promise to take you to Three-Eyed Star? The time has come. Let's go," Son Gohan said calmly.
"Okay. Chiaotzu, are you coming with me?" Tien Shinhan turned to ask.
"Mm. Wherever Tien goes, I go," Chiaotzu said, taking Tien Shinhan's hand.
"Then let's go..." Son Gohan stepped forward and grabbed Tien Shinhan!
Suddenly, a furious shout came from far away: "Tien Shinhan, get your butt over here..."
"Gohan... Hurry, go, now!!" Tien Shinhan was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, his voice frantic!

Launch's blonde self kicked up a sky full of sand as she braked her hoverbike!

"Whew!!" Tien Shinhan wiped away his sweat.
"Tien Shinhan, you really don't know how to appreciate a woman! Blonde Launch might have a fiery temper, but looks are what matter!" Krillin laughed.

"Haha, Gohan, look, he's getting worked up... Wow, Tien Shinhan, you wouldn't happen to be gay, would you?" Krillin took three steps back.
"Krillin!! There's a kid right here!!" Tien Shinhan fought to contain his anger.
"Doesn't matter, as long as you're not a pedophile... But..." Gohan looked at Chiaotzu, his gaze clearly asking, Is this really true?
"Son Gohan... Krillin... You two bastards!! Dodon Ray!!"
