"But if you can dodge once, how many more times can you dodge?"
"We haven't even exerted ourselves yet!"
Salza said coolly. It was true that they hadn't shown their full strength. Their previous attack had only been a response to their opponents' move.
And Salza had been the one to lead it.
If Dore had attacked, the blow would have been far more devastating.
All three of them had combat power in the hundreds of thousands. They were a truly fearsome elite squad.
By now, Carl and Greta could clearly feel the gap between them. The two of them simply couldn't stand a chance against the squad.
They had already been suppressed and driven onto the defensive in that brief exchange!
They couldn't let things go on like this!
They exchanged a glance, then looked toward the Saiyans in the distance. Their combat power was decent, but they had no way to wield Great Ape Power.
They couldn't join the fight at all!
For a moment,
they were caught in a dilemma!
Mu Chuan could see from afar that they were at a disadvantage.
He knew that even if one or two of them mastered Great Ape Power, it still wouldn't be enough to fight the Armored Squadron.
The Armored Squadron was simply too strong!
And they were seasoned fighters, not useless weaklings who only had combat power and no fighting instincts.
Now it all depended on what choice they made!
"If only two of them master Great Ape Power, they won't be able to deal with the squad. But if more of them master it, then it might just be possible!"
The only way for the Saiyans present to turn things around was for more of them to master Great Ape Power. Their individual strength might still be lower than the Armored Squadron's,
but they would have the advantage in numbers.
That would at least let them hold their own for a while. Besides, Saiyans only grew fiercer the longer they fought. Why else would they be called a warrior race?
Mu Chuan waited to see what they would choose.
But their next move left him stunned.
One of the Saiyans gathered a white orb of light in his hands and fired it straight into the sky.
It was the Artificial Moon!
By now, all of them had learned how to create an Artificial Moon. They had done so to prepare for any unexpected situation.
They hadn't planned to use it, but if they didn't increase their combat power now, they had no chance of fighting the Armored Squadron!
So what if they lost their sanity?
All the Saiyans looked up at the Artificial Moon in the sky.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
Their heartbeats boomed like thunder.
One after another, the Saiyans transformed into Great Apes. The enormous beasts roared at the sky, and the whole barren planet began to tremble.
The three members of the Armored Squadron, who had been so nonchalant moments ago, grew solemn.
They might have been taking things lightly before, but now they were truly serious. Once all the Saiyans had turned into Great Apes, their combat power would multiply!
Twelve terrifying monsters, each with combat power just over 100,000, could spell disaster for them if they joined forces!
"A bunch of filthy monkeys..."
"Can't win, so you turn into monkeys? But... their combat power has gone up tenfold!"
"They've completely lost their minds, but we can't let our guard down!"
The Saiyans transformed into Great Apes rampaged across the desolate planet, occasionally attacking the Armored Squadron as well.
But most of the time, they were simply destroying the planet.
Carl and Greta couldn't do much about the destruction. They kept circling around, staying close to several of the Great Apes.
That helped ease the pressure on them considerably.
Sometimes, the Great Apes even attacked the Armored Squadron. This finally enraged Dore. He slammed a powerful wave of energy into one of them.
Then he stopped going after Carl and Greta!
He focused on beating one of the Great Apes instead.
"Dore!!"
"Captain, don't worry about me! These filthy monkeys are just too despicable. I'll kill every last one of them!"
He was furious!
He wouldn't even listen to Salza anymore.
He abandoned the squad outright, but that also caused the pressure on Carl and Greta to ease at once.
The strongest fighter had left the group, and now they only had to fight face-to-face instead of defending against attacks from both sides!
It couldn't have worked out better.
The battle raged on for some time, and the scene grew utterly brutal. Most of the Great Apes were being mercilessly beaten.
But perhaps because they were caught up in the fight, they failed to notice the changes taking place.
Mu Chuan, an outsider watching from afar, found the scene fascinating. A trace of anticipation even stirred within him.
He saw the Great Apes growing furious!
They shouldn't underestimate the Great Apes' anger. Once they became enraged, they might regain their sanity. If that happened, it would mean they had mastered Great Ape Power!
Even if they couldn't fully control it, that would still be far better than losing their minds completely!

"If they'd just taken out the Saiyans, none of this would have happened. Furious Saiyans are truly terrifying!"
It was as if the scene had been arranged to prove him right.
The Great Ape, beaten until it was covered in wounds, let out a roar. Dazzling light suddenly poured from its body, the same dark red as before!

all the Great Apes began to shrink. At last, they returned to human form. The intensely evil aura around them, however, did not fade.
They had truly mastered Great Ape Power!
The people present were caught off guard. The Armored Squadron, Carl, and Greta had all been struggling to keep up with the battle just moments earlier.
Now, with this sudden turn of events, joy spread across their faces.
The timing couldn't have been better!
"Ha ha ha ha..."
"You three bastards, you're finished!"
"You're really finished this time!"
"Now that all of us have mastered Great Ape Power, what can you possibly do?"
Carl burst into laughter, brazen and unrestrained. They had been getting beaten down and humiliated the whole time, but now every one of their comrades had mastered Great Ape Power.
Their combat power had skyrocketed!
Then the Saiyans who had mastered Great Ape Power joined the fight.
They were still incredibly irritable, but they had retained a sliver of reason. The tide of battle turned almost completely in their favor!
A dozen or so terrifying Saiyans with combat power just over 100,000 had more than enough strength to deal with the relatively powerful Armored Squadron!
The battle ended soon afterward!
The Armored Squadron couldn't withstand the Saiyans' terrifying assault. With Mu Chuan's nod, they finished the squad off.
That way, they'd never have to worry about them again!
Otherwise, if anything went wrong later, the consequences could be disastrous!
