By the stream, Reke sat on a rock with a fishing rod in hand, quietly watching the water as he waited for a fish to bite.
The float bobbed slightly. Reke knew a fish was testing the bait, so he held his position.
"Thump."
The ground trembled. Ripples suddenly spread across the water, and a thirty-meter-tall ape appeared beside the stream.
Reke sighed, reeled in his line, and stood up to face the ape.
The ape had come to drink. When Reke moved, it noticed the tiny ant below.

The ape beat its chest with both fists and roared at Reke, its tone full of possessive defiance.

A dull sound rang out, and the ape shot uncontrollably into the sky, shrinking to a speck before disappearing from sight.
