Background / History

Persia claims to have awakened during a warm season after being conceived within the trees, calling herself a child born from the heavens, earth, forest, time, and natural energy. Her name translates as “Miracle of the Creator.” Unable to speak normally, she initially communicates through sounds, gestures, and natural energy. 36

After Uchiha Zhuang finds her unconscious in the forest, he gives her food, water, and shelter. Persia leads him toward the Creator—her name for the forest and its source—before disappearing in the deep woods. She later accompanies him into the mountain and the abandoned underground city of Balaxia. 36 38

Within the ruins, Persia becomes frightened by the lurking threats and falls asleep during their exploration. A hostile consciousness subsequently takes control of her body, commanding statue monsters and forcing Zhuang toward Balaxia's sacrificial ground. 38 39

The possessing entity identifies itself as the god once worshipped by Balaxia. It recounts being restrained with Anti-Magic Stone and bound to an altar, where the people of Balaxia slaughtered civilians to stimulate its divine power. Having survived the kingdom's destruction, it seeks to escape the ruins by absorbing Zhuang's unusually dense natural aura. 39

Zhuang defeats the entity with the Immortal-Binding Rope. After accepting his promise to show it foods from across the world—provided it stays beside him and does not harm innocents—the entity relinquishes control, allowing the original Persia to return. The inner deity is later addressed as Xia Mi. 40 41 44

Following their escape from God Peak, Persia travels with Zhuang through the Land of Rain. She experiences human clothing, restaurants, theater, hot springs, and city life for the first time, while Xia Mi remains within her and warns her against becoming attached to him. 43 44 47

Persia is described as a pretty, snow-white girl whose beauty draws unwanted attention from bandits. When first encountered, she lacks conventional clothing and later receives custom-made outfits, a cloak, a gauze-covered straw hat, and a rose hairpin from Zhuang. 42 43 47
