"Don't joke like that. I have something very important to report to Lord Galactic King," Jaco snapped impatiently, his voice tinged with urgency, his fingers gripping the communicator tightly, his brows furrowed.
" Galactic King Galaxy is in a meeting, it's not appropriate to connect now. Tell me what you need to say first, and I'll report back later!" the operator said with a smile, her tone relaxed and seemingly unconcerned.
"All they do is hold meetings all day long!" Jaco muttered, a slight smirk playing on his lips.
" Jaco, watch your words!" The operator's voice turned stern, her smile vanished instantly, and her tone carried a hint of warning.
"Hurry up, this is very important! It concerns the safety of Earth! And my spaceship is broken!" Jaco said urgently, his voice rapid, his Adam's apple bobbing, and his fingers tapping heavily on the communicator.
"Okay, please wait a moment while I ask." The operator thought for a moment, her tone softening slightly.
He then pressed the mute button and contacted the Galactic King, who was in a meeting.
"Is that Jaco? We finally have news of him. Let's bring him in." The Galactic King nodded in agreement.
The call was answered quickly.
Jaco immediately told Galactic King everything about the existence of adult Saiyan on Earth.
His voice was sometimes high-pitched and sometimes low-pitched, his fingers gesturing in the air, and beads of sweat sliding down his cheeks.
Upon hearing this, the Galactic King's expression indeed changed color.
His brows furrowed sharply, his pupils contracted slightly, and his fingers paused on the table.
"Didn't they say only Saiyan babies went to Earth?" Galactic King asked, frowning, his voice low, his gaze fixed on the ceiling of the conference room.
"Our intelligence was wrong!" Jaco said in a deep voice.
"I understand. I'll send Merus over to support you immediately!" Galactic King made a decisive decision.
" Merus? He's back from outside?" Jaco was taken aback, raised an eyebrow, and a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
"Of course, after all, Merus is the best member of our Galactic Patrol. He even brought back the infamous Saganbo this time!" The Galactic King smiled and glanced at Merus.
Merus nodded slightly, a faint smile on his lips, his hands resting on his knees, his posture composed.
"However, can Merus be a match for this adult Saiyan?" Jaco was still somewhat uneasy, his voice tinged with hesitation.
" Merus, what do you think?" The Galactic King looked at Merus with admiration, his gaze lingering on his face for a moment, his eyes full of trust.
"I'm fine!" Merus smiled confidently, a sharp glint in his eyes.
"Then you should set off as soon as possible!" Galactic King nodded with satisfaction and patted Merus on the shoulder.
"Yes, Galactic King!" Merus stood up and bowed.
"From here to Earth, it should only take a day at most on my fastest spaceship, right?" the Galactic King said with a smile, a smug glint in his eyes.
"Yes." Merus nodded slightly.
"What? Galactic King is going to give that fastest spaceship to the Merus team?" Jaco exclaimed, his voice changing and his eyes wide open.
"Why are you yelling like that? Is that not allowed?" Galactic King asked irritably, a smirk playing on his lips.
"N-nothing..." Jaco's lips twitched slightly, forcing a smile; his expression was worse than crying.
"Alright, you can wait patiently on Earth." After saying that, the Galactic King tapped his finger on the table and immediately ended the call.
A busy tone came from the communicator.
Ten minutes later.
"Call out!"
An exquisitely designed spaceship detached from the Galactic Patrol Headquarters space station.
The ship has a long, slender hull and a smooth, mirror-like surface that gleams with a silvery-white luster under the Starlight.
With bright blue flames shooting out from its tail, the spaceship transformed into a streak of light and hurtled towards Earth, quickly disappearing into the vast sea of stars.
Earth, headquarters of the Capsule Corporation.
The morning sunlight streamed into the dining room through the floor-to-ceiling windows, illuminating the entire room.
A snow-white tablecloth covered the dining table, and the silver cutlery gleamed softly in the sunlight.
Bulma's breakfast was always quite substantial.
A table laden with all sorts of delicious food, steaming hot and fragrant.
Fried eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, milk, juice, fruit salad, and several exquisite dishes whose names I didn't know—a dazzling array of food.
Vegeta, Broly, and Majin Buu at a separate table, the three of them scrambling to eat and thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Chopsticks flew back and forth between the plate and the mouth, the sounds of clinking and chewing rising and falling.
Broly's cheeks puffed out like two balloons, Buu's mouth was covered in sauce, and Vegeta's tail swished excitedly behind him.
Reiz and Linoshi dined with Dr. Brief, his wife Panchy, and Tights.
Several people sat around another round table, the atmosphere warm and relaxed.
Dr. Brief took a sip of his coffee, a satisfied smile on his face.
Panchy placed a piece of bread on Linoshi's plate, her eyes gentle.
Tights her head down, glancing up at Reiz every now and then, as if she wanted to say something but hesitated.
After eating for a while, a little girl who looked only five years old came out of the room, rubbing her eyes.
Her hair was messy, her pajamas were wrinkled, she was wearing slippers, her steps were shuffling, and her eyes were half-open.
"Huh? Sister's back?" Bulma stared blankly at Tights, rubbed her eyes, blinked, and made sure she wasn't seeing things.
" Bulma, you're only just getting up? You're almost late for kindergarten!" Tights a smile, patting Bulma's head.
"I'm sick today, I'm not going to kindergarten," Bulma said, shaking her head, pouting, puffing out her cheeks, and putting her hands on her hips.
"But Bulma doesn't seem to have any problems with her health." Tights, her gaze sweeping over Bulma, a hint of mischief in her eyes.
"Sister, didn't you run away from home? Why are you back? I was thinking of inheriting the family fortune. You should go back to writing your novel." Bulma snorted, glaring angrily at Tights, her chin slightly raised and her arms crossed.
Tights's lips twitched, and she covered her face with her hand, not lowering it for a long time.
She was speechless for a moment, and could only let out a helpless sigh.
"She's my youngest daughter, Bulma. She's been a little devil since she was little!" Dr. Brief sighed softly, shook his head, but his eyes were full of affection.
"She's quite cute." Reiz smiled, his gaze lingering on Bulma's face for a moment.
