Vegeta froze, his eyes wide, staring blankly at Linoshi.
His pupils contracted violently, and the color drained from his face at a visible rate.
A brief silence.
You could hear a pin drop in the cockpit.
"Hmph, what a joke? You're saying Frieza's power level is 120 million!" Vegeta expressed deep doubt, his voice involuntarily rising eight octaves.
"Yes." Linoshi nodded gently, her voice very small, as if she had said something wrong.
She lowered her gaze, her fingers beginning to fidget with the hem of her battle suit again.
"You just said... your brother said that?" Vegeta asked again, his brow furrowed so deeply it could kill flies, "Who is your brother?"
"Ah... my brother is... my brother also heard it from someone in the Frieza Force, it shouldn't be wrong." Linoshi quickly concocted a lie, her blue eyes flickering with a hint of panic.
At the same time, Linoshi sighed inwardly, suddenly feeling a bit weary.
It really takes many lies to cover up one lie.
"Impossible! This is absolutely impossible!" Vegeta shook his head, baring his teeth, his small face full of disbelief, "How could Frieza's power level possibly be so high!"
"Alright, alright, you don't need to ask about these things, kid. Go on and get busy!" Reiz patted Vegeta's shoulder, signaling him to get lost.
"Wh-what did you say? I'm not a kid!" Vegeta gritted his teeth and shouted angrily, his small face turning bright red.
"Bang!"
Reiz didn't indulge Vegeta's tantrums. He stepped forward and struck him with a palm, hitting him directly on the back of the neck.
The action was swift and precise, the force just right.
"Thwack!"
Vegeta was knocked to the ground, instantly knocked unconscious. His small body lay motionless on the cold metal floor.
"That's much quieter!" Reiz let out a long sigh of relief, a relaxed smile appearing on his face.
"This... this isn't good, is it?" Linoshi said with a wry smile, looking at the unconscious Vegeta on the ground, her blue eyes full of worry, "What if the King finds out..."
"If he finds out, he finds out. He can't beat me anyway," Reiz laughed heartily, unconcerned.
"You... you make a good point." Linoshi nodded, thinking about it, and it seemed she couldn't refute it.
"I need to train hard too, and strive to get a grasp of Ultra Instinct before we reach Planet Cereal," Reiz mused, his gaze becoming determined.
"I'll accompany you!" Linoshi said softly, her blue eyes looking at him tenderly.
"Okay." Reiz readily agreed.
Three minutes later.
Reiz and Linoshi entered the training room.
This training room was similar to the one on Vegeta's spaceship, a circular room with a diameter of about 10 meters.
Energy absorption devices were embedded in the surrounding walls, the floor was made of a special alloy, and the ceiling lights illuminated the entire space brightly.
Upon entering the training room, Reiz once again emptied his mind, slowly closed his eyes, and quickly entered a state of no-mind.
His breathing became steady and long, and he seemed to merge with his surroundings.
That profound feeling surged in his heart again, his body felt like a pool of spring water, able to sense the flow of air, the fluctuations of energy, and everything around him.
Linoshi guarded him from the side, never leaving his side.
She stood quietly at the edge of the training room, her blue eyes fixed on Reiz.
The light fell on Reiz, outlining his tall figure and focused expression.
The corners of her mouth curved upwards unconsciously, revealing a gentle smile.
Time flowed by quietly.
Frieza's spaceship.
The main control room was brightly lit, with various instruments flashing with a faint blue light.
Outside the massive viewport, Planet Vegeta floated quietly in space, the blue planet standing out starkly in the darkness.
Frieza remained suspended in his infant-carrier-like vehicle.
He narrowed his triangular eyes, gazing out at the vast starry sky and the blue Planet Vegeta within it.
His purple lips curved upwards slightly, revealing a meaningful smile.
Just then, the cabin door opened automatically, and a slender figure walked in from outside.
Zarbon, another of Frieza's trusted subordinates.
He had a handsome appearance, green long hair, and wore a well-fitting uniform, exuding elegance in every movement.
He approached Frieza from behind and bowed respectfully.
"Zarbon, is something the matter?" Frieza asked without turning his head, his gaze still fixed on the window.
"Lord Frieza, Dodoria's communication has been lost!" Zarbon reported, his tone carrying a hint of gravity.
"What? Is the Scouter broken?" Frieza snorted, seemingly unconcerned as he tapped his fingers lightly against the armrest.
"We are currently investigating the specific cause," Zarbon bowed again and said hurriedly, "However, the strange thing is... Dodoria's Spaceship has suddenly changed course! It is no longer tracking Vegeta and the others, but is instead flying toward the Eastern Universe."
"The Eastern Universe?" Frieza's brow furrowed slightly, his expression turning cold, "Isn't that the territory of that guy, Cooler?"
He paused, his gaze sharpening.
"What? Is Dodoria unhappy working for me, Frieza, and planning to defect to my brother Cooler?"
Zarbon did not respond.
Primarily because he did not know how to answer such a statement, he simply kept his head lowered and remained silent.
"Have you determined which planet Dodoria's Spaceship is heading to?" Frieza asked, turning his head with his eyes narrowed slightly.
"Dodoria's Spaceship has disabled its communication system; we cannot contact him!" Zarbon reported, "It appears to be heading toward a planet on the edge of the Eastern Universe, seemingly called Planet Cereal. We conquered that planet several months ago and sold it to the Xita Organization."
"Oh? Is it Planet Cereal?" Frieza mused, his fingers stopping their tapping, "I recall that the Hugor have already moved to live on that planet."
"Ye... yes, that is correct." Zarbon nodded, cautiously asking for instructions, "Lord Frieza, should we send someone to investigate?"
Frieza pondered for a moment.
"Have Cui go and take a look!" Frieza decided, issuing the order.
"Yes, Lord Frieza." Zarbon bowed and prepared to withdraw.
"Cui is no match for Dodoria; tell him to report back immediately once he finds him!" Frieza added, his tone icy.
Cui received the order quickly.
He was short and thin, his face always wearing a sycophantic smile.
Upon receiving the command, he dared not delay, immediately boarding a spherical mini-Spaceship that detached from Frieza's mothership. With bright flames erupting from its tail, it sped off in the direction of Reiz and the others' Spaceship.
Cui's Spaceship was quite fast, cutting through the starry sky like a streak of light as it surged forward.
He pursued for several hours.
Starlight streaked backward outside the porthole, surrounded by endless darkness.
"I should be catching up soon, right?" Cui muttered to himself, staring at the tracking data on the screen.
"Bang!"
The ship suddenly collided with something, emitting a muffled thud as the entire hull shook violently.
"Ouch!" Cui was jolted from his seat, his head nearly striking the ceiling.
The next moment, ice was shattered into pieces, the fragments drifting scattered throughout the starry sky.
"What is this? How did I hit ice?" Cui was slightly stunned, rubbing his aching head and frowning, though he did not think much of it.
