At the Star Luo Empire’s tournament, Dai Yueyan concealed why Dai Yuner was absent while the powerful academies quickly defeated weaker opponents. Topaz and Aventurine confirmed that the Abyss had corrupted the Star Luo Empire’s spatial barrier, and Aventurine planned to help a candidate gain the power of the Hunt and become its hero.

• Long Yue asked Dai Yueyan about Dai Yuner’s absence, and Dai Yueyan claimed she was unwell and unable to fight.
• Dai Yueyan went to the arena as the tournament continued with mostly brief, one-sided matches.
• Dai Tianling asked Topaz and Aventurine for their assessment of the matches, and they praised the Star Luo Empire’s hidden talent.

Na'er extracted the Abyssal Sage King's consciousness from Gu Yue and freed the Dragon Souls he had consumed, transforming them into the Holding Court Clan. As Na'er proclaimed herself their god, Gu Yue suddenly rose and announced her intention to destroy the world, only to be confronted by the newly transformed clan.
