Ch. 1Just Transmigrated, and It's Douluo Continent

Yao Lan mistook a real Transmigration Notice for a scam, chose “Sewer” as his destination and “Railroad” as his ability, and was pulled through his computer into another world. He woke on a beach, confirmed that he had transmigrated with a system’s help, and regretted choosing so carelessly.

  • Yao Lan filled out the Transmigration Notice with “Sewer” and “Railroad,” assuming it was a fake webpage.
  • Yao Lan clicked confirm, saw streams of data on his screen, and was dragged through it by a translucent hand.
  • Yao Lan woke on a beach and sensed that he had gained strength.
  • Yao Lan spoke with the system, which confirmed his transmigration and said it would help him use his ability.
  • Yao Lan regretted his careless choices after learning the Transmigration Notice was real.

Ch. 2Can Create Avatars, Can Also Simulate Aeons

Yao Lan learned that he had arrived in Douluo Continent III and that his Honkai: Star Rail powers would be distributed in batches to protect the world. After discovering he could create avatars and simulate Aeons, he decided to grow cautiously and began considering an avatar representing The Wisdom.

  • Yao Lan learned that he was in the era of The Legend of the Dragon King and that his powers would be distributed gradually because they exceeded the world's level.
  • Yao Lan received information about his abilities: he could create alternate identities and use Simulate Aeon to grant himself or an avatar an Aeon's favor and Emanator-level power.
  • Yao Lan transformed himself into a child with blue-and-gold hair and resolved to develop safely before receiving all his power.
  • Yao Lan learned that he could currently create only one avatar and decided he needed one representing The Wisdom.

Ch. 3Herta's Clone

Yao Lan created a Herta clone to pursue wealth and status as a Forging Master, then discovered that her martial soul was Nous. The chapter left him confident that Herta could become a rising star in the Forging Association.

  • Yao Lan decided that wealth and status mattered most and considered becoming a Forging Master.
  • Yao Lan chose Herta as a clone who could combine genius-level intellect with forging ability.
  • Yao Lan and Herta discovered that the clone was a real child rather than a puppet, and that both shared one consciousness.
  • Herta drew Nous's attention, and the system revealed that her martial souls were Nous, The Hunt, and Abundance.
  • Nous descended as Herta's martial soul, granting her innate Soul Power at level twenty.
  • Yao Lan praised Herta's potential as a Forging Association prodigy, and Herta confidently agreed.

Ch. 4Forging Exchange Tournament, Saint Craftsman Mu Chen

Eight-star Saint Craftsman Mu Chen attended a youth forging tournament, where a girl named Herta bluntly criticized his assumptions and showed she could recognize flawed Spirit Refinement. Intrigued by her skill, Mu Chen followed her to learn more.

  • Mu Chen visited a school forging tournament and praised the young competitors to the academy principal.
  • After the tournament, Mu Chen watched a fifth-rank Forging Master demonstrate Spirit Refinement and judged the result inferior.
  • Mu Chen left the venue alone to clear his mind, then encountered Herta carrying leftover metal materials.
  • Mu Chen assumed Herta wanted his forging advice, but she ignored him until he called after her.
  • Herta criticized Mu Chen for acting conceited and claimed she would already be a God Craftsman if she were his age.
  • Mu Chen realized Herta had recognized the flawed Spirit Refinement and followed her out of curiosity.

Ch. 5Unbelievable Forging

Herta used Nous’s simulation to forge mixed scrap metal into Spirit Refined material, intending to impress Mu Chen, the Eight-Star Saint Craftsman secretly watching her. Mu Chen witnessed her push beyond Thousand Refinement and begin Spirit Refinement, leaving him stunned as she attempted a feat that had eluded many for a lifetime.

  • Herta abandoned her plan to attract a grand craftsman at the competition after discovering Mu Chen nearby and decided to impress him with Spirit Refinement.
  • With Nous’s aid, Herta simulated the forging techniques of the competition’s students and a grand craftsman, reaching the level of a Fifth Level Grand Craftsman.
  • Mu Chen watched Herta prepare to forge the leftover scraps and doubted the materials could produce anything beyond Hundred Refinement.
  • Herta began forging with a gigantic hammer, striking faster than many experienced Forging Masters.
  • Mu Chen saw Herta turn the scraps into Thousand Refinement metal with a trace of spirituality, then watched her continue toward Spirit Refinement.

Ch. 6Plans for the Future

Herta completed an almost perfect Spirit Refinement despite her limited Soul Power, impressing Mu Chen enough that he took her away as his disciple. While Herta lay unconscious, Yao Lan considered using Herta's identity to secure a safe place on the Douluo Continent and planned for her future clones.

  • Mu Chen recognized that Herta's Martial Soul could transform metal and decided to take her as his disciple, though he expected her Spirit Refinement to fail because her Soul Power was too low.
  • Herta entered a profound state and continued forging while Yao Lan used her knowledge of Nous to calculate the outcome.
  • Herta completed the Spirit Refinement with a final hammer strike, then collapsed from the strain of exhausting her Soul Power and Mental Power.
  • Mu Chen caught the unconscious Herta, praised her as a rare genius destined to become a God Craftsman, and left with her and the Spirit Refined Metal.
  • Yao Lan remained conscious within Herta and planned to use Herta's identity and Mu Chen's resources while considering whether her main body would need to appear on the Douluo Continent.

Ch. 7Mu Xi

Mu Xi suspected Mu Chen was hiding someone after finding a strand of brown hair, and she broke into his study to investigate. She discovered Herta there and misunderstood Mu Chen’s attempt to explain the situation, leaving him accused by his daughter.

  • Mu Xi found a strand of brown hair at home and decided to search Mu Chen’s study before telling her mother.
  • Mu Xi opened the study door using a password based on her mother’s and her own birthdays and found Herta lying on a sofa.
  • Mu Xi headed for Mu Chen’s desk, but hid inside a cabinet when she heard him return.
  • Mu Chen entered carrying a box and spoke about Herta’s appearance, while Mu Xi listened from her hiding place.
  • Herta woke up and accused Mu Chen of taking her original clothes, and Mu Xi emerged to accuse him of making a move on a girl her age.

Ch. 8Acting and Gamesmanship

Yuan Bao'er comforted Herta after Mu Chen frightened her, and persuaded her to join the family as Mu Chen’s apprentice. Herta accepted, secretly pleased that the arrangement could give her a stronger identity and access to forging instruction.

  • Mu Xi learned that Herta was Mu Chen’s talented forging apprentice, and Yuan Bao'er went to speak with the girl while Mu Chen soothed his daughter.
  • Yuan Bao'er embraced Herta and learned that she had no parents, then invited her to call her Mom.
  • Herta accepted Yuan Bao'er’s offer and called her Mom, while secretly calculating how the relationship could benefit her.
  • Yuan Bao'er praised Herta’s forging talent and presented Mu Chen’s apprenticeship as compensation for bringing her home.
  • Herta accepted the offer to learn from Mu Chen and made Yuan Bao'er promise to protect her if he bullied her.

Ch. 9God-level Martial Soul?

After Herta joined Mu Chen’s family, Mu Chen learned that she had level twenty-five Soul Power and had been born with level twenty Innate Soul Power. He suspected her Nous martial soul was God-level and urgently asked her to release it.

  • Yuan Bao'er declared Herta her daughter, and Mu Chen and Mu Xi accepted her into the family.
  • Mu Xi and Herta grew close over their shared interest in forging, and Mu Chen prepared to enroll them at Eastsea Academy.
  • Herta told Mu Chen that her martial soul was Nous and her Soul Power was level twenty-five.
  • Mu Chen learned Herta had level twenty Innate Soul Power and recalled that only the Six-Winged Angel lineage was known to exceed the usual level-ten limit.
  • Mu Chen suspected Herta possessed a God-level martial soul and urged her to show it, while Herta remained indifferent.

Ch. 10The Ability to Transform Avatars

Mu Chen warned Herta to hide her innate twentieth-rank Soul Power and offered to buy her Soul Spirits. Meanwhile, Yao Lan learned how to create avatars and switch Aeon powers, then decided to replace The Hunt with Permanence to create a powerful dragonkin avatar.

  • Mu Chen told Herta to conceal her innate Soul Power and explain it as a beneficial mutation caused by heavenly treasures.
  • Mu Chen offered to take Herta to the Spirit Pagoda to buy two Soul Spirits, and Herta's relationship with him improved slightly.
  • Yao Lan learned that he could turn a willing being who had once reached the godly level into an avatar using the power of an Aeon.
  • The system explained that Yao Lan could switch Aeon powers on his main body, while Nous had already formed Herta's martial soul.
  • Yao Lan decided to replace The Hunt with Permanence and use its power to create an avatar from a dragonkin.

Ch. 11Mental Power That Shook the Ages

Yuan Bao'er took Herta and Mu Xi to the Eastsea City Spirit Pagoda to choose a Soul Spirit, where Herta’s Mental Power test revealed an astonishing value of 378. The Spirit Pagoda offered to cover the cost of a Thousand-Year Soul Spirit, while Yuan Bao'er worried that Herta’s extraordinary talent would draw unwanted attention.

  • Yuan Bao'er brought Herta and Mu Xi to the Spirit Pagoda to find Herta a suitable Soul Spirit.
  • The Soul Guide offered to test Herta’s Mental Power, and Yuan Bao'er agreed.
  • Herta’s Mental Power reached 378, placing her in the Late Spirit Connection Realm at nine years old.
  • The Soul Guide decided to report Herta’s talent to his superiors rather than recruit her himself.
  • Yuan Bao'er asked for recommendations for Thousand-Year Soul Spirits, and the Soul Guide offered to let Herta choose one at the Spirit Pagoda’s expense.

Ch. 12Black Tower's Soul Spirit

Yuan Bao'er brought Black Tower to the Spirit Pagoda to buy a Soul Spirit, refusing a free one so Black Tower would not owe the organization a favor. Black Tower followed a mysterious pull through the Thousand-Year Soul Spirit collection and chose a mutated Black Velvet Lion that reminded her of the mythical Bai Ze.

  • Yuan Bao'er refused the Soul Guide's offer of a free Soul Spirit and agreed to pay for a Thousand-Year Soul Spirit.
  • The Soul Guide showed Yuan Bao'er, Black Tower, and Mu Xi the Thousand-Year Soul Spirit collection and recommended a Purple Spirit Wolf for Black Tower's Mental Power attribute.
  • Black Tower rejected the Purple Spirit Wolf and a humanoid mermaid Soul Spirit, saying she felt drawn to something else.
  • Black Tower walked ahead through the collection and stopped at a mutated, white Black Velvet Lion with a dragon-like tail and crystalline horn.
  • Black Tower recognized the unusual Soul Spirit's resemblance to the mythical auspicious beast Bai Ze.

Ch. 13Heavenly Phoenix Douluo

Herta chose a rare mental-type White-Winged Lion Soul Spirit, named it Bai Ze, and prepared to leave the Eastsea City Spirit Pagoda with Yuan Bao'er and Mu Xi. Vice tower master Leng Yaozhu arrived and showed interest in Herta, but Mu Chen appeared just as Yuan Bao'er hoped to end the encounter.

Ch. 14Herta's Choice?

Mu Chen and Yuan Bao'er tried to leave the Spirit Pagoda with Herta, but Leng Yaozhu stopped them and offered to make Herta her disciple and successor. Herta was asked to choose whether to accept, but the chapter ended before she gave her answer.

  • Mu Chen arrived with Yuan Bao'er and Herta, and Leng Yaozhu stopped them from leaving the Spirit Pagoda.
  • Leng Yaozhu explained that she wanted to recruit Herta, whose exceptional Mental Power made her a potential future Ultimate Douluo.
  • Leng Yaozhu offered to take Herta as her disciple and direct successor, proposing deeper cooperation between the Spirit Pagoda and the Forging Association.
  • Yuan Bao'er insisted that Herta should make her own choice, and Mu Chen and Yuan Bao'er promised to support her either way.
  • Herta said she wanted to help her parents and began to announce her choice, but the chapter ended before she revealed it.

Ch. 15Reserve Spirit Transfer Envoy

Herta became Leng Yaozhu’s personal disciple and received a token granting her Reserve Spirit Transfer Envoy status. After Herta and Mu Chen’s family left, Qian Gu Dongfeng arrived seeking the child, but Leng Yaozhu kept him from meeting her and said she would handle the family and the Forging Association.

  • Herta asked Leng Yaozhu to teach her so she could help her parents, and Yuan Bao'er agreed while warning Leng Yaozhu not to let anyone bully her.
  • Leng Yaozhu promised to treat Herta like her own daughter, gave her a personal disciple token with Reserve Spirit Transfer Envoy rights, and invited her to call her Teacher.
  • Leng Yaozhu sent Mu Chen's family away before other Spirit Pagoda figures could arrive, saying she would visit them later.
  • Qian Gu Dongfeng arrived at the Spirit Pagoda and asked where Herta was, but Leng Yaozhu explained that she had already left with Mu Chen's family.

Ch. 16Path to Death!

Herta went to school with Mu Xi while Yao Lan prepared to act as Tang Wulin’s story approached Na’er’s arrival. In the Space-time Turbulence, Tang San discovered he could no longer sense the divine consciousness he had left to protect Wulin, then detected an unfamiliar divine consciousness beyond the turbulence and hoped it could help him return to the Douluo Continent.

  • Yuan Bao'er woke Herta and Mu Xi for their first day of school and asked Mu Xi to look after Herta.
  • Yao Lan considered the timing of Tang Wulin’s meeting with Na’er and recalled choosing Na'er as his avatar instead of Tang Wulin.

  • Yao Lan found Na'er near Red Mountain Academy and transformed his appearance and Aeon power to attract her.
  • Na'er rushed into Yao Lan's arms, and he infused her with the power of Abundance as he began making her his avatar.
  • Yao Lan waited beneath a tree with Na'er until Tang Wulin left the academy.
  • Tang Wulin felt drawn to Yao Lan, approached him, and called him a pretty big sister.

Ch. 18Wulin's First Love Came to an End

Yao Lan lulled Tang Wulin to sleep, erased the Golden Dragon King's seal and Tang San's divine consciousness from him, and transferred the dragon's power into Na'er. Tang Ziran found Tang Wulin and took him home, while Yao Lan left him stunned by revealing he was an older brother, not an older sister.

  • Tang Wulin mistook Yao Lan for a beautiful older sister, and Yao Lan invited him to rest beside him until Tang Wulin fell asleep.
  • Yao Lan used Aeon of Nihility IX to destroy Tang San's divine consciousness and remove the Golden Dragon King's seal from Tang Wulin.
  • Yao Lan transferred the Golden Dragon King's power into Na'er, leaving Tang Wulin with only Blue Silver Grass.
  • Tang Ziran searched for Tang Wulin, found him asleep beside Yao Lan and Na'er, and woke him to go home.
  • Tang Wulin thanked Yao Lan and asked if they would meet again, but Yao Lan revealed he was an older brother, leaving Tang Wulin shocked.

Ch. 19Gu Yue, Without Na'er
