During those four days, after learning about Zhang Tie's current circumstances—especially the news that he was about to buy land and build a city in You Province—Barry and the others reached a decision after only brief discussion: they would come to You Province, put down roots there, and start anew.
Yet even starting over came with many problems that needed handling and resolving.
The first problem to solve was the matter within the Divine Grace Brotherhood.
There had originally been twenty-eight members of the Divine Grace Brotherhood who came to Great Xia. Now, only Barry and the others knew of Zhang Tie's situation; the rest still knew nothing of what he had become. The little success Barry and the others had achieved in Gui Prefecture over the years had also been fought for through the combined efforts of everyone in the Divine Grace Brotherhood. Therefore, the decision to develop in You Province had to be conveyed to the other members as well, so that everyone could freely make their own choice.
At this point, apart from Barry and a few others who were still single, many of the rest had married and had children after their lives stabilized over the past two years, settling down in Gui Prefecture. Thus, persuading everyone else to come to You Province with Barry and the others was no easy matter.
But Zhang Tie had never intended for everyone to come to You Province, because he did not plan to destroy the lives they had now and make them begin again in an unfamiliar place. That would be far too selfish, and he had no right to do so.
Zhang Tie told Barry not to reveal the full truth of his
