After the Heaven Dou Empire’s invasion of the Dou Ling Empire, Mu En mediated a settlement between Heaven Dou and Star Luo. Nearly two years later, Xia Ming returned for the Soul Master Tournament, where Di Ruiqiu dominated the opening match and Xia Ming used Faith Power to transform her and Wang Dong'er’s cultivation foundations.

• Shrek Academy rejected Tang San’s legacy, while the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect and Dai Hao broke with his faction, and Xia Ming disappeared after the battle in Shrek City.
• Du Busi and the Body Sect attacked Lingdou City, killed Heavenly Sun Douluo, and devastated the Dou Ling Empire before Heaven Dou and Star Luo divided its territory.
• Mu En intervened after Xu Sanshi offered to surrender his family’s claim to the Dou Ling throne in exchange for protecting the surviving Xue family, and Du Busi agreed to the settlement after Mu En overwhelmed him.
• Nearly two years later, Shrek and the Body Sect arrived at the Soul Master Tournament in Ming Capital, and Elder Song discovered that Xia Ming had returned after gathering Faith Power.
• Xia Ming joined the tournament’s opening ceremony, where Di Ruiqiu volunteered for Shrek’s first match and used her dragon pressure and a single punch to defeat the opposing team.
• Xia Ming explained how Faith Power could strengthen Di Ruiqiu and help Wang Dong'er, then removed Tang San’s bloodline imprint from Wang Dong'er and guided both women’s cultivation.
• Several days later, Bei Bei led Shrek into the second round and revealed his Bright Sacred Dragon Martial Soul and seven Soul Rings, stunning the crowd and rival teams.

Xia Ming destroyed the Valley of Love and Emotion, then guided Shrek to victory over the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineer Academy. After helping Huo Yuhao accept the Emotion God Position, Xia Ming began balancing the fused powers of the God King Qilin.

• Bei Bei revealed his stabilized Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring, while Di Ruiqiu and Wang Dong'er emerged from seclusion with strengthened powers and Wang Dong'er free of Tang San's bloodline connection.
• Xia Ming entered the Valley of Love and Emotion, overcame its restraints, and battled Oscar, whose sacrifice led the God of Destruction to destroy him and imprison Ning Rongrong.
• The God of Love gave Xia Ming her complete God Position Seed before the collapsing valley vanished, and Xia Ming began testing potential inheritors, finding that Di Ruiqiu strongly resonated with its laws.
• Bei Bei defeated Long Aotian in Shrek's semifinal against the Body Sect, and Huo Yuhao swept the remaining opponents to secure Shrek's place in the final.
• Wang Dong'er defeated Ye Guyi with her Self Martial Soul Fusion and then beat the Sun Moon Team's remaining five fighters, winning the championship for Shrek.
• At the Lake of Life, Di Tian sacrificed himself to become Xia Ming's eighth Soul Ring, helping Xia Ming form his third Soul Core, reach Limit Douluo, and force his cultivation to level one hundred.
• Tang San enlisted the Golden Dragon King in a plot against Xia Ming, while the Golden Dragon King secretly sought a chance to escape and fled after sensing the God of Emotion's power.
• Rong Nianbing chose Huo Yuhao to inherit the Emotion God Position, and Xia Ming began fusing the God King Qilin's powers before deciding to delay full inheritance until he gained greater control.
