When people spoke of the Dao of blood, their first impression was undoubtedly of something yin, filthy, sinister... Yet that was merely a fixed stereotype, a narrow-minded notion.
Blood was the pivot of Heaven and Earth, the turning of creation's wheel, the first stirring of sun and moon, the Source of life.
And among all things in this world, what could live without blood?!
Even Heaven and Earth, the universe itself, were no exception.
When Heaven and Earth went to war, dark yellow wept blood...
It was only that the blood of Heaven and Earth was beyond the sight of mortals.
The Blood Saint had attained eternity through the Great Dao of blood, and thus monopolized countless authorities over Heaven, Earth, space, and time.
Yin, yang, life, death, purity, filth...
It could be said to encompass myriad phenomena.
And how could the achiever of such a vast Great Dao possibly be some sinister, narrow-minded figure? Or rather, only by walking Heaven's righteous path, with Momentum vast and mighty and one's Dao grand and august, could one attain eternity.
If one followed crooked byways and heretical paths, then even upon reaching the utmost limit, one would possess no more than a few measures of might—perhaps enough to run rampant for a time, but absolutely insufficient to attain Immortality, to attain eternity.
As for the exceedingly bizarre Blood Sea from before, which seemed utterly at odds with the Blood Ancestor's style, it only appeared to be so.
Though the Blood Sea's style was bizarre—curses, filth, and all manner of such traits—they were merely minor paths. Yet they were
