It took a very, very long time, but it's finally finished.
I feel empty inside—truly, I came empty-handed, and I leave empty-handed...
How should I put it? The longer a novel gets, the harder it becomes to write toward the end. That's an unavoidable problem, and very few masters can break free from that rule.

As for the genre of the next book, I currently have several ideas and some preliminary concepts, but which one I'll choose will depend on the circumstances at the time.
Also, I made a character thread for the new book in the review section. Friends who want to appear in the new book can post character cards there. I'll use them as references when I'm outlining it.
As for this book, there may still be a few side stories afterward. Maybe. I can't say for certain that there will be any—it depends on how well I recover.
