"Holy crap, I actually got the Kamui Eye!" Su Bai leaped up from his hospital bed, overjoyed!
He knew about Kamui. It was Uchiha Obito's Sharingan, and countless Naruto fans considered it the most perfect Dojutsu in all of Naruto: it was useful for both offense and defense, and let its user appear and disappear without a trace.
With just his right eye, Uchiha Obito could roam the perilous Shinobi World as if it were his own backyard, going wherever he pleased and stirring up trouble without anyone able to stop him. He'd had it easy!
Perhaps Kamui was too overpowered, so Kishimoto had waited until the very end to give Kakashi both Kamui eyes. After letting him bask in the glory for a while, he took them away again...
But that made sense. Obito could dominate the Shinobi World with just his right eye, though he also had Hashirama Cells... Still, it was an incredible power. If it hadn't been nerfed, how could anyone else compete?
Kamui was a Space-Time Ninjutsu. It could transport targets at close range into its user's personal dimension, let the user hide in that dimension to phase through attacks, and even allow entry into someone else's space-time.
In addition, Kamui could absorb objects. Anything focused on by the Sharingan would be absorbed, either in its entirety or only in part.
Su Bai remembered Kakashi using this technique in the original story to sever Deidara's arm and the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path's arm. It was the kind of Ninjutsu that was almost impossible to guard against!
The ability worked like spatial separation: the user could interrupt the transfer midway, leaving part of the target's body in another dimension.
At that point, one part of the target's body remained in the current space while the rest was in the Kamui Dimension, splitting the target apart.
Kamui had its own separate dimension. It could transport people as well as objects, much like the spatial rings in fantasy novels, except that it also had an irresistible transfer ability.
Though it wasn't absolutely irresistible. Kamui took a brief moment to activate, and a strong enough target could escape.
But there weren't many people like that. In the original story, only the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, had ever escaped it, using another godlike Ninjutsu: the Flying Thunder God.
But Minato was the Fourth Hokage, the only genius in the entire Shinobi World to master the Flying Thunder God to its full potential. Even the technique's creator, the Second Hokage Tobirama Senju, hadn't mastered it to the same absurd degree.
On top of that, Minato had exceptional combat instincts, while Obito was a greenhorn with plenty of power but little combat experience. That was how he managed to dodge Kamui.
Still, Kamui wasn't invincible. It had weaknesses, too.
Its greatest weakness was that its user had to be tangible while absorbing or releasing something. They couldn't phase out at the same time.
And because the user had to concentrate chakra in their eye to activate Kamui, they were extremely vulnerable to attack.
The Fourth Hokage had identified this weakness in the original story and used it to defeat Obito in one fell swoop.
The second weakness was that absorbing or transferring oneself took longer than transferring someone else. The user was also immobilized during the transfer, giving opponents an opening.
The third was that Kamui's phasing mode could last only about five minutes at most. Any longer, and it would fail.
When Konan fought Obito in the original story, she used the Paper Person of God Technique to detonate paper bombs continuously for more than ten minutes, forcing him to use another divine technique of the Uchiha Clan, Izanagi, to survive!
But as far as Su Bai was concerned, these weaknesses could be overcome. The Kamui he'd obtained was different from the one in the original story. He had the complete pair of Kamui Sharingan!

"Could it be that I can't communicate with this system? Do I have to figure everything out on my own?"
He'd read plenty of system novels in his previous life, and their systems had come in all shapes and sizes, so he wasn't too surprised.
"Whatever. I'll figure it out myself. As long as I've got Kamui Mangekyou, I don't need to worry." Su Bai began to study the system carefully.
"The new task is to raise my overall assessment to Genin. I can't worry about that for now."
The task section was easy enough to understand: just follow the instructions. He couldn't complete the current task yet, so he turned his attention elsewhere.
"All seven attributes are locked. Does that mean I can unlock them later? Become an all-attribute ninja?"

Elite Chunin: Master three C-Rank Ninjutsu or one B-Rank Ninjutsu and have a Chakra Level of over 500.
Special Jonin: Have a Chakra Level of at least 700 and one ability that meets Jonin standards.
Jonin: Master two attributes and one A-Rank Ninjutsu, and have a Chakra Level of at least 1,000.
Elite Jonin: Have a Chakra Level of at least 3,000, know Ninjutsu of at least three attributes, and have mastered one S-Rank Ninjutsu.
That was all the information Su Bai could get his hands on for now. There might be even stronger ninjas above Elite Jonin, but they were beyond his reach.
