As Leng Yaozhu spoke, she looked at Li Ang. Shen Ming, standing nearby, also looked at him and signaled with his eyes.

Meeting their gazes, Li Ang remained composed.

"Junior Sister Gu Yue is strong. My abilities just happen to counter hers."

"Junior Sister Gu Yue is worthy of becoming your disciple, Teacher."

As Li Ang spoke, he lowered his head slightly.

Leng Yaozhu looked at him, fell silent for a moment, then rolled her eyes at him.

She raised one hand, revealing a wooden box, and tossed it straight to Li Ang.

Li Ang caught the wooden box and froze for a moment.

It was dark red all over, and remarkably heavy.

After catching it, Li Ang didn't open it right away.

Leng Yaozhu said nothing more and simply glanced at Gu Yue.

"Gu Yue, you stay here with them too."

"Study hard here. Once your strength has grown in three years, your teacher will take you all to the Spirit Academy."

As Leng Yaozhu spoke, she glanced over the three of them, then turned around calmly and gestured to Shen Ming.

After the two of them left, the three stood there, looking at one another.

Gu Yue and Na'er met each other's eyes. Their gazes were thick with hostility.

Li Ang ignored them completely.

He wasn't interested in either of them for now.

Unless his strength reached a certain level, he didn't want to get involved with Gu Yue or Na'er too soon.

After all, both of them were dangerous in their own right, especially with Di Tian behind them.

He was a genuine Limit Douluo, a terrifying powerhouse who ranked among the top three in the world when not using Battle Armor.

Until he was strong enough to protect himself, Li Ang didn't want to cross paths with Di Tian.

As Li Ang turned and walked away, Gu Yue and Na'er both looked toward his retreating figure.
